Review Body: Very professional and allowed us to explore the type of Jewelry we wanted to make, patient and meticulous during the making process. We did the filing and hammering of the motifs and they did the rest! A personal memorabilia to bring home.

Review Body: We loved the whole experience. The silversmiths guided us through 3 hours that flew by, end result being 3 rings and 2 sets of earrings that were pretty impressive if I say so myself. Oh, an earthquake thrown in for no extra charge!

Review Body: We started a bit put off by the lack of welcome, as if we were not expected. We were a group of 5 and only one other person had booked at the same time, so one would think they’d recognize a group of 5 showing up at the exact time of the workshop at this location that is a bit out of the way. We weren’t let in until I showed proof of reservation. We were given written instructions but no verbal explanation on the process. We had to do as we were told, the best we could. In the end, we were the very junior apprentices doing some of the easiest tasks, which we didn’t mind, and our pieces turned out amazing! For sure there’s a bit of the IKEA syndrome involved, but still. Selecting a jewel design and contributing to its fabrication is fun and satisfying and it wouldn’t be possible without the skilled jewelers doing most of the work. They also looked like they took pride in the work they had done for us. We had a great family activity and made nice souvenirs. Thank you!

Review Body: Fun morning yet slightly disappointed with the whole experience. There was ‘a big group’ (25 ppl) so we could only make a ring. My guess (and in a way hope as it’s good business for them) that there is always a big group, so don’t expect to have choice in what you can make. It also wasn’t very hands on, it was more seeing the masters at work and waiting. Nevertheless interesting, and a fun little souvenir. Just don’t expect too much. Note: one huge improvement would be explaining the process, now there was 0 and people seemed quit at loss and somewhat disappointed. The craftsmen were all very friendly, skillful and spoke enough English: please tell us about your craft!

Review Body: Lovely little workshop to get in touch with Bali's local woodcrafting tradition. You can chose a design to work on. The teacher is clearly a master in his craft and has loads of experience. Be aware that whole you can do carving yourself, the teacher will do quite a lot to make sure it's presentable and finished in time, which at times was a little sad because it felt like your work (admittedly not perfect, but that was never the goal) was hardly visible in the end. If you are interested in the background of the masks for example, you'll have to ask, no information is given on their own. It's still a great way to get an insight into the craft if you are not too sensitive about lots of the work being done for you. Recommended!
