Review Body: We did this as a family - me, my partner and my parents - and we all loved it! We all had different food requirements (my mum is a super picky eater, and me and my partner are vegetarians) but we all ended up loving the food and had a lot to eat!! Our guide Alex was great. She's so clearly a foodie, and super caring with all of us - she made sure to hold my mum's hand every single time we crossed a road. She messaged the day before and again on the way to meet us, so it all felt very looked-after. It's an evening walk through the Old Quarter and we hit seven spots - we had pork kebab, rice roll, glutinous rice, a donut, banh xeo, pho and dessert. We loved that the pho was served in an old lady's living room where she's cooked for 40 years. It felt very local and hidden. The best part for me is that it didn't feel like we were just tourists having food. Alex was able to help us immerse in the local stories too. Alex knows the hawkers and was able to tell us stories about each of them, like which ones were third-generation hawkers. She's very accommodating too - we asked for beer at one stop, and coconut at another and she was happy to get it for us. Come hungry!! It's a LOT of food.

Review Body: We had an amazing food tour in Hanoi with Alex from Seek Sophie! Even though we’ve been to Hanoi before, she took us to hidden local spots that we would never have found on our own, and the food was absolutely delicious. This was exactly the kind of authentic experience we were hoping for. Alex was polite, kind, and attentive throughout the whole tour. She made us feel very comfortable. The highlight of the afternoon was when she surprised me at the last stop, a cozy café with a birthday cake she had prepared! It was such a thoughtful and very memorable! ☺️ If you want to discover the real local flavors of Hanoi, I highly recommend booking with Alex.

Review Body: Our tour of the Old Quarter by night stopped into a variety of local food stalls and cafes frequented largely by locals. These spanned from the traditional banh xeo pancakes and banh cuon rice rolls, to the street side pho sampled by Jensen Huang on his visit to the city, the latter eaten in the cosy living room of the family who make it. Alex, our guide, brought the experience to life with her stories of how she discovered the best of Hanoi when she moved north from HCMC and her delight in sharing new foods and flavours with travellers. A great way to spend an evening - and I guarantee you won’t be hungry by the end of it!

Review Body: Our guide Minh was fantastic. Not only did we have a lot of flexibility to try things we hadn’t yet, we covered a large neighbourhood and got to try Minh’s favourite secret spots :) His knowledge of the city and willingness to answer any questions about local culture and experiences was much appreciated- much more than just a food tour!!

Review Body: The tour with our guide Alex was the highlight of our trip to Vietnam so far, and one of the best travel experiences we have ever had! We would not have been able to find most of these awesome food spots on our own. They were all loved by the locals and would have been hard to get into without our guide. Alex took care of ordering which meant we didn’t wait long at each place, and also tailored food picks for dietary requirements, which is not easy when travelling. We loved Alex’s knowledge and love of Hanoi food culture. This tour gave us the chance to eat some dishes we wouldn’t find on our own, and some classics like pho with the reputation of being the best in the area according to the locals. All in all, must try!

Review Body: Nick is a fine young man who speaks and holds himself well. He was incredibly attentive to our group’s comfort throughout our tour, always making sure to seat us where there was good ventilation given how warm the weather was. He was also highly mindful of our dietary needs, taking great care with allergies and vegetarian requirements. We loved how he shared what locals typically have for breakfast and lunch, while also asking about our own home countries and food cultures. Anyone assigned to Nick for this tour can look forward to a good experience and great recommendations. We really enjoyed our walking food tour with him, especially the bún chả and mango dessert.

Review Body: Super high energy team who was very engaging and organized throughout the whole session and even in the weeks leading to the event! There was constant check in to make sure that they've all the dietary requirements in place and our preferences for the coffee flavours and snacks menu. Love that they also had dedicated camera crew folks who helped to capture many nice shots during the team event. On the day of the event, they were really accommodating and helped to conduct the teambuilding event at our workshop premises due to the road closures for the National Day event - everything went smoothly and everyone really enjoyed the session! Highly recommended!!

Review Body: Brilliant tour, even after 6 weeks of eating our way through Vietnam! My partner and I had a great time on this street food tour! Bob, our guide, was awesome, spoke perfect English, made us laugh and made sure we had fun throughout the 3 hours together. We’d already been travelling in Vietnam for six weeks and had eaten loads of Vietnamese food, but we were still surprised by new dishes on the tour. Everything we tried was amazing and super tasty. At the end, Bob gave us a list of recommendations, which has been really helpful for the rest of our time here. We left very full and very happy. It was great value for money, and I’d highly recommend it!

Review Body: The experience at Local Bean Roastery was excellent! Giang led the session and did an amazing job explaining everything about Vietnamese coffee, including its history, culture, and different preparation styles. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience feel engaging and special. We also had the chance to try two local wines, which was a great and unexpected addition to the experience. Everything was very well organized, informative, and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone interested in learning more about Vietnamese coffee and local flavors. Five stars!

Review Body: We had already been in Hanoi for 4 days before the tour and really made an effort to get to know all culinary sides of Vietnam. They were really small, nice, clean, and above all, authentic food stalls where we got to taste the food. (More than the normal tourist spots from TripAdvisor or the Michelin Guide.) But Alex, our tour guide, took us to the next level. All in all, a cool tour. Alex spoke excellent English and gave us great background information on Hanoi and Vietnamese food culture. We were in a really small group. Super uncomplicated coordination via WhatsApp.

Review Body: Loved that we could get a local's perspective on Hanoi’s incredible food scene! It was such a great way to dive deeper into the city’s culinary culture, and it was interesting to hear the history and stories behind each iconic dish, which gave me a whole new appreciation for the food. What made it even more special was that apart from some of the more well known stores that we went to, our guide brought us to hidden gems that I never would have found on my own. If you’re a foodie, this experience is the perfect blend of exploring and eating your way around Hanoi!

Review Body: Alex was a great guide. Took us to some great places and certainly had more than enough food to eat. The highlight had to be the Pho place we went to - sitting in someone's lounge room and eating Pho because they can't serve on the street anymore. The lady that made it has been making Pho for the last 32 years and she even served Jensen Huang - the CEO of Nvidia. It is some of the best Pho I've tasted. Went in full and not intending to eat much of it but ended up finishing the whole bowl. Alex did a great job telling he story and finding the great places to eat.

Review Body: Transport was provided to and fro our hotel - that was a big plus point. Coffee class was held in a clean, quiet and nicely decorated unit. Lin spoke perfect English, her class was easy to follow for us (novice level). History of the coffee beans was interesting. We found her Coconut Coffee better tasting than most commercial cafes in Hanoi! Her presentation slides were concise and there was lots of laughter when we were guessing what beans were in each jar. My teens enjoyed making coffee! A delightful way to get to know Vietnam and its coffee culture!
