Review Body: We did a full day tour of Khao Yai park with Mr. Nong.
Mr. Nong was a wonderful tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the park. We were only there for the day, but were able to see a lot. We were very lucky, and got to see wild elephants twice, guar, a gibbon, macaques, an antelope, hornbills, and a variety of other birds. We did a stroll/easy hike through a section of jungle, and saw a pretty waterfall and scenic vistas. Mr. Nong seemed to know many people at the park, they were constantly exchanging tips. Towards the end of the day, someone let him know that there were wild elephants close to the road, and we rushed there, Mr. Nong driving his little car like a jeep.
We learned a lot about the park and the animals that live there
It was a wonderful day. Bring binoculars!

Review Body: There's no better way to see Khao Yai than with Mr. Nong as your guide. He's an incredibly friendly guy, attentive to his customers' interests, and knows where to see the wildlife in the park. You'll also find Mr. Nong to be a very responsible guide – he has all the proper licenses and insurance that other tour guides might skip to save money.
We did a tour with Mr. Nong. He picked us up from our hotel and took care of all the logistics of the tour, including an excellent night market dinner in Pak Chong. We saw gibbons, monkeys, elephants, deer, hornbills, snakes, and plenty of birds. He also took us on trails that were a good match for our hiking ability.
You'll be in good hands with Mr. Nong – I can't recommend him enough!

Review Body: Mr Nong was a brilliant tour guide. We saw multiple gibbons, a family of elephants, porcupines, deers, birds, snakes and a wide variety of insects. His son was also on the tour and had a very good knowledge of the nature around us just like Mr Nong. They took time to make sure we were able to see as much of the wildlife as we could and put as much effort in to see all the wildlife we wanted to see. Even if we didn’t see elephants we still would’ve had an amazing day. We also got to see a big waterfall (the one from the film the beach). Mr Nong also had fantastic English and could explain what the wildlife did very well. Would highly recommend.

Review Body: Did a whole day wildlife tour in Khao Yai with Mr. Nong and his son. It exceeded my expectations and I would wholeheartedly recommend it if you are into exploring the wildlife of the National Park! Mr. Nong is a great person, very knowledgeable, so passionate about the national park, he has an eye to spot animals and a sense of humour. A true pleasure to see elephants, gibbons, hornbills, macaques, a porcupine, a python, birds, ... in their natural habitat. We also went for a walk in the forest where fauna was presented. Picked up and dropped off at the accomodation in Pak Chong. I've learnt so much that day, so worth it!

Review Body: Khao Yai is absolutely worth a visit if you are in Thailand and interested in nature, and this is a great company to show you around. Deaw is a master of the forest. He is very in tune with the environment. I have no idea how he spotted some of the animals...he found a binturong resting in a tree that I never would have seen on my own. Also saw elephants, many gibbons, snakes and scorpions, hedgehogs, foxes, deer, a rare banded kingfisher (also an incredible spot by Deaw). He arranged transportation and I stayed overnight in one of the park's simple but comfortable cabins (hot water shower!).

Review Body: We already went on a trip with Deaw a while ago but I keep recommending his tours to friends and anyone who asks about tours in Khao Yai or where to go with some time to spare from Bangkok. THe time in the park and on the trail was such a rich experience. Spending time in the forest (including the night), listening to and seeing so many different animals from small birds to gibbons to elephants, walking with our guide who shared his wildlife knowledge and stories about the park. Absolutely, highly recommended if you're up for a deep dive into nature and wildlife in this gem of an area.

Review Body: We had the best time at Mr. Nong! If you are considering doing the Khoa Yai jungle, Mr. Nong offers a great (private) tour. He knows the jungle very well and takes all the time you need to spot as much as wildlife as possible! We saw 17 elephants, snakes, monkeys,… most of all, Mr. Nong is an incredibly funny and nice guy. He really takes good care of you, speaks English and makes the most out of the experience. He takes you to the market for food and will sit with you to have a drink afterwards. 100% worth the money and very happy we booked with him!

Review Body: From the time Mr Nong picked us up from the hotel, to the time he dropped us off we had the most amazing adventure. Mr Nong was so organised, helpful and a general delight to be around.
He tries really hard to ensure that you see the wild life in the National Park.
We could not recommend Mr Nong highly enough.
He really made the trip magical, and the best experience we have had in Thailand.
Thank You Mr Nong

Forget the bucket list and follow the itinerary that nature has prepared for you
If you want Khao Yai with a real wildlife tracker instead of a fixed, rushed itinerary, this is the one to book. It is a private day out for just your group of up to 6, led by a local guide who has spent more than 40 years in this forest. He adjusts the route to your pace and to what the jungle is doing that day, whether that means following gibbon calls deeper into the trees, rerouting for an elephant sighting, or keeping the walk easy for kids and grandparents. That flexibility is rare here. Most Khao Yai day trips follow one set walk and one set timing. On this one, the standard 3.5km trail can be swapped for a tougher 5km+ jungle hike, or shortened and flattened for younger children, older travellers, or anyone who wants a gentler day. Past guests included both active hikers and a family with a 2-year-old, and still saw wildlife like gibbons, hornbills, deer, porcupines, snakes and elephants. You also get more than just a trek. The day includes both Haew Narok and Haew Suwat waterfalls, then finishes with a local dinner at Pak Chong night market. With park fees, meals, transport and wildlife photos included, it feels personal and local rather than like a standard park transfer. What to ExpectPrivate 12-hour Khao Yai day trip for up to 6 guestsHotel or hostel pickup and drop-off in the Pak Chong areaFlexible jungle walk led by a local tracker with 40+ years of forest knowledgeWildlife-focused trekking to look for gibbons, hornbills, macaques, deer, porcupines, snakes and, if you are lucky, elephantsTrail can be adjusted to your group, from an easier forest walk to a more challenging 5km+ hikeVisits to Haew Narok Waterfall and Haew Suwat WaterfallLocal lunch in the park, and dinner at Pak Chong night market to feel how locals livePark entrance fees, insurance, and wildlife photos taken during the dayGood to KnowPickup outside Pak Chong is not included, but can be arranged as an add-onBreakfast is not included. Feel free to book hotel with breakfast, or we can take you to our best-picked restaurant upon request. This is best for travellers who want a flexible, wildlife-led day rather than a fixed checklist tourThe route may change on the day based on your fitness level, weather, and recent animal movementExpect some walking on uneven forest trails. Closed shoes are a good ideaLong transfer is by car, but some spots require extra walk from parking locationWildlife sightings are never guaranteed, but the day is built around tracking and maximising your chancesTour usually runs from 08:00 AM to 08:30 PM, but flexible upon guest's request.

Lerne deinen Gastgeber kennen
