This is not a pretentious or stuffy wine tasting. It’s a private session where great wine meets good energy. You’ll be guided by a real expert, but the mood stays relaxed, playful, and easy to enjoy, with optional mini-games if you want to keep things light and social.Led by the founder, you’ll taste rare, small-batch wines with fewer than 2,000 bottles produced. Some are even hand-labelled by the winemakers and their families. Ian gründete Simplicity Wines im Jahr 2022, nachdem ihm aufgefallen war, dass in der Welt der Weinveranstaltungen etwas fehlte – echte menschliche Verbindung. Da er in der Kunst- und Unterhaltungsszene aufgewachsen ist, bringt er in alles, was er tut, eine warme, bodenständige Art ein. Was als einfache Idee begann, Weinwissen zu teilen, ist zu etwas viel Bedeutenderem gewachsen. Ian schafft Erlebnisse, die persönlich und durchdacht wirken, nicht einstudiert oder vom Verkaufen getrieben. Er hat mit großen Unternehmen wie Shell und BlackRock gearbeitet, legt aber genauso viel Wert darauf, etwas zurückzugeben – indem er lokale Initiativen in Singapur unterstützt und mit Weingütern zusammenarbeitet, die sich auf Nachhaltigkeit konzentrieren. Im Kern geht es Ian darum, Menschen bei einem guten Glas Wein und einem guten Gespräch zusammenzubringen.
