It was such an overwhelming experience that touched my heart. My life and yoga experience is forever changed and enriched by Sophie. I am deeply appreciative to Sophie. I want to go back again to Bali to see Sophie to go on an even deeper Yoga / Healing journey. Thank you so much. Namaste đ đ€

Our instructor Kadek provided a great session. My wife and I are at different skill levels in yoga and Kadek managed it brilliantly making sure we were both learning and enjoying the session. The session ended with a really relaxing meditation. Would highly recommend.

Review Body: I had a wonderful experience taking part in the Canang Sari workshop. It was supposed to be a group activity, but I was the only participant that day, which actually made the experience feel even more personal and special.
We learned how to make the Canang Sari using the traditional method, weaving coconut leaves and securing them with small pieces of bamboo. I really enjoyed learning about the meaning behind the different colours, their order, and the symbolism of the offerings and prayers.
The workshop was supposed to last two hours, but it ended up lasting about two and a half hours. We made around 15 Canang Sari, and throughout the workshop I was given lots of explanations about Balinese Hindu traditions and culture.
What I appreciated most is that it didnât feel like a typical tourist activity at all. It felt genuine, relaxed and very informative, and I came away with a much better understanding of something I had been seeing everywhere in Bali.
Highly recommended if you want to learn more about Balinese culture and experience something a little different.
I highly recommend it

Review Body: We just had the most beautiful experience on 03 August 2025 with my Host a Sister group, joining this women-led Canang Sari workshop in Bali. From the moment we arrived at the welcoming Balinese familyâs home, we were treated like friends. They dressed us in traditional Balinese attire, which instantly made the experience feel authentic and special.
The workshop itself was inspiring, we learned step-by-step how to create Canang Sari, the daily offerings found all over Bali, while hearing about their deep spiritual meaning of gratitude and balance. The hosts were patient, knowledgeable, and so warm-hearted.
The setting was peaceful, the flowers were vibrant, and the entire atmosphere felt sacred yet joyful. We even enjoyed light refreshments and lovely conversation throughout.
If youâre looking for an authentic cultural experience that supports the local community, connects you to Balinese spirituality, and leaves you feeling inspired, I canât recommend this enough. đžđ

Review Body: I highly recommend this experience! When youĂre in Bali, youĂll see canang everywhere. ItĂs great to understand the process and intention that goes into making them. I appreciate Luh and her team as they are all amazing, beautiful people who bring so much knowledge and experience for you to learn from. Here you get to see different generations at work. From family traditions and mothers passing down teachings to daughters and granddaughters, to getting first hand experience of Balinese culture, this experience gives you a solid basis and insight into the beauty of Balinese people and culture. This experience is intimate and personalized so if you have any questions or want to know more, you can absolutely do so. You get to see some expert level canang making. But more beautifully, you get to experience a sense of community, support and love. I had so much fun and learned a great deal! I will definitely partake in this experience again!

Review Body: The family is super welcoming, friendly and heartwarming: once you reach you get dressed in local clothing and you something to drink with local sweets.
They explain about the daily house offerings and how to make them. In every step there is a clear instruction and background information.
I did the Canang sari making with my almost 68 yr old fit mom and it was so sweet to see the grandmaâs reaction to her. I would normally not have picked this kind of activity but because of my mom we choose this experience and i loved it!! I highly recommend Pranasanthi Yoga not only because of the heartwarming way they organise this but also to support local small businesses!

Review Body: This was, hands down, my FAVORITE thing we have done in Bali to date and we have been traveling around Bali for 2.5 months - so we have done ALOT. The family at Pranasanti Yoga is so incredibly kind and they are such authentic, genuine people. They taught us so much about Balinese culture and they were translating in English and French for everyone there. The offerings were so fun to make and to learn about and they also had some traditional Balinese snacks that I will now be dreaming about (mainly the fried banana and the sticky rice filled triangles).
I cannot recommend this activity more. Thank you so much for such a wonderful morning Pranasanti Yoga!

Review Body: I absolutely loved this experience - even more so because it ended up being a private workshop, as I was the only one signed up at that time. I enjoyed it so much Iâd gladly do it again.
The atmosphere was serene and peaceful, and the young woman guiding the session was kind, warm, and explained the tradition and each step of the process with such grace. From learning the meaning behind the Canang Sari to tasting local sweets and sitting in the shade of a traditional Balinese home, every moment felt like a glimpse into daily life here - wrapped in a ritual that was quiet, beautiful, and almost otherworldly. Truly magical. Loved, loved, loved it!

Review Body: We spent a wonderful morning at Pranasanti Yoga doing the Canang Sari workshop. On arrival at the beautiful little studio, we were welcomed with great hospitality, given delicious Balinese refreshments and dressed in a sarong and sash. The woman who came to take the workshop, with assistance from her grandmother, was such a beautiful soul, gentle and patient in her instruction and after preparing numerous canang saris, guided us through the traditional prayer ritual. It was certainly one of the highlights of our trip to Bali and can recommend to those wanting a true cultural experience in a delightful authentic location

Review Body: I travelled extensively on my own as a young woman (30 yrs ago), and itâs this kind of experience that brings it all back. The class was intimate and we learned so much about the time and patience required in making the baskets and the significance of each element in Balinese culture. We learned âhow to prayâ the correct way and had the most amazing morning! I highly recommend this experience if you want to know more about Balinese culture - before it disappears. Apparently the you people prefer technology and are not interested in learning what may soon become a dying art form.

Review Body: I loved very much the atmosphere quiet and peaceful far from the jungle traffic,as the patience and calm of my teacher... I found everything perfect, materials, balinese dress and time organization... I have to say also that's a lot complicated make these canang sari as understand the correct disposition of all the flowers cause everything simbolizes something else so it's important for me that someone who knows explains it to me! Really fantastic experience that i highly recommend..keep patience and never stop trying đ Special thanks to Ita and Nihađ«¶

Review Body: Today, I had the opportunity to make Canang Sari with a warm-hearted lady and a smiling priestess. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and full of wisdom. From the moment we met, it felt as though I was reconnecting with people I had known before.
Afterward, we joined a healing ceremony. I did my best to keep an open mind and bring my purest heart into the experience. By the end of the journey, I felt something truly magical. I left feeling lighter, refreshed, and deeply at peace.
I am truly grateful for this beautiful experience. âšđ

Review Body: It is a very informative and spiritual experience. You learn all about different kinds of offerings and how to make them. Furthermore, while you prepare the offerings you have an enjoyable, casual chat with the instructor and she answers every question about their culture or anything that comes to mind. After finishing the crafting process you take part in a prayer, which was so calming.
Overall, would recommend this experience.
(Side note: definitely try the traditional desserts that they offer, they
were really tasty)

Review Body: Awesome experience.
Me and my friend did the free yoga course on wednesdays and it was great. All the equipment and water is provided and the instructor slowly leads you through different stretches and exercises, while also adjusting peoples performances. Slow start, challenging exercises during the main part and a slow, relaxing ending left me satisfied and with sore muscles on the next day.
(Thereâs always alternative poses if itâs too hard for you too - so perfect for beginners)
Highly recommended :)

Review Body: The experience was surreal. The class was conducted in the family house of the host which made the experience very authentic. The grand mother and grand daughter duo were very welcoming, very humble, very patient during the class. Our conversation about Hindu rituals practiced in Bali and India were enlightening.
They appreciated my outfit -- I came wearing a sarong and shirt from my culture. On the whole, a beautiful experience.
It's worth it. They deliver all that is promised.

Review Body: My heart always comes back to Bali and I like to bring new travellers along to experience this beautiful island. This was an amazing experience to appreciate the offerings on display. The ladies were amazing at teaching me and my friends and making us feel included in the normal daily process and gathering of making these offerings. It teaches you patience and love. Thank you again for sharing apart of your culture and inviting us in your home. Very memorable experience.

Review Body: One of the most powerful and spiritual experiences of my life. I did the Chanang Sari making paired with the Balinese Healing add on and I could not recommend it more. I had no idea the ways in which this experience would impact me. The women are so inspiring and informative, explaining to you the significance of the offering and how the skills of making it apply to our life at large. The healing session was everything I never knew I needed. Donât hesitate, just sign up!

Review Body: What an incredible experience! This workshop provided a rare and authentic look into Balinese religious culture. Creating the offerings was meditative, and the insight into why they are made daily was eye-opening. The hosts were wonderful and made the ritual feel very accessible yet deeply sacred. I left with a much deeper appreciation for the local culture. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a meaningful, hands-on cultural experience.

Meet your host
Pranasanti was founded by a Balinese priestess, Manis. Born and raised in Bali, Manis is a trained âJeroâ or Balinese priestess, who has responsibility in her local community to lead ceremonies. On becoming a Jero, she found her sensitivity to energy heightened, so turned to yoga and meditation to balance it. At Pranasanti, Manis and her team offer a variety of retreats, yoga and healing sessions. She tailors each session to the individual needs of her guests, and she creates a supportive and nurturing environment where people can relax, rejuvenate, and connect with their inner selves.
