Learn to cook Thai food the way grandmas do - in a beautiful cosy organic farm!
You know the food is going to be amazing when it's made from recipes that have been passed down for generations - and that is what this cooking class is all about! Plus, it's set in the most beautiful countryside farm to cook in! There’s an organic garden, chicken coop, mushroom hut and of course, a cosy cooking space.Started by grandma Rabiiab's grandson, this cooking class started as a way to share his grandmother's amazing traditional Thai recipes and her belief that cooking is more than just food - it’s a way to connect with others and share culture.Your amazing locals chefs will teach you how to cook yummy Thai dishes just like how grandma Rabiiab makes them - from going to the local market to pick fresh ingredients, to walking their organic farm to learn about veggies and herbs (maybe even feed the chickens too!) to the actual step-by-step cooking. What you’ll cook: your choice of soup (Tom Yum or Tom Kha), stir-fried noodles (Pad Thai), and curry (Gang Keaw Waan, Gang Phed or Khao Soi), and finishing with the ultimate Thai dessert - mango sticky rice! You have the option to make them with chicken, shrimp or vegetarian. Full menu below. What we love most is how the chefs explain what each ingredient does, how it nourishes your body, and share little bits of Thai culinary philosophy along the way. By the end, you’ll not only have a delicious meal to dig into, but also a deeper understanding of Thai cuisine and culture.Beginner-friendly cooking classThis cooking class is simple enough for beginners with no cooking experience, but yet authentic enough that you’ll learn and take back something from it.What to ExpectSmall, intimate group, maximum 10 people per class!Visit a Thai market to learn about key ingredients and seasonings.Explore an organic farm, learn about veggies and herbs, and feed the chickens with chili.Cook three classic Thai dishes: soup, stir-fry, and curry, with step-by-step guidance.Suitable for beginners, no prior cooking experience needed.Enjoy a delicious mango sticky rice dessert prepared fresh for you.Take home all the recipes so you can recreate your favorites.A relaxing and interactive experience in a beautiful countryside setting.Menu Options:Soup – Choose 1:Spicy and Sour Soup (Tom Yum)Coconut Soup (Tom Kha)Thai Stir-Fried with Rice Noodles (Pad Thai) – Choose between:Pad Thai with ChickenPad Thai with ShrimpCurry – Choose 1:Green Curry (Gang Keaw Waan)Red Curry (Gang Phed)Khao SoiDrinks (Served) – Choose 1:Thai Milk Tea (Cha Yen)Thai Lemon Tea (Cha Ma Nao)Good to KnowDuration: 4 hours per session. We offer two sessions:Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.Afternoon Session: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM.Timing in the kitchen is like seasoning—sometimes you need a little extra!
