This intimate performance which blends magic and Vietnamese folklore is a really fun way to spend an evening! The show brings Vietnamese folklore to life through clever illusions, heartfelt storytelling, and laugh-out-loud comedy—all set in a 100-year-old heritage building in the heart of District 1. It's perfect for hipster locals looking to discover their city and stories in a fresh and modern way, and for travellers who want to go deeper into Vietnamese stories. Unlike large-scale theatre shows, this is a cosy, interactive experience. We love the community vibes in this intimate theatre, with a melting pot of locals, expats and a handful of travellers. With only 24 guests per show, everyone gets a great view (and possibly a turn in the spotlight). The performer, Petey Majik, has over 13 years of experience and a reputation as one of Vietnam’s top magicians. He blends masterful sleight-of-hand with sharp wit, making the hour not only mystifying but also properly funny. Already known for his quick wit and clever sleight of hand, Petey brings traditional Vietnamese stories to life in a way that’s both fun and mesmerising. Alongside co-founders Hoang Le Duy and Jonathan Dao, he’s built more than just a show – it’s become a space where magicians come together, learn, and perform. Whether it’s through a clever trick or a surprising twist, Petey makes sure every guest leaves with a smile and a sense of wonder.
