Review Body: This was a great trip! Only 3 people had booked, so I agreed to travel with a couple in an old Russian Jeep. It was refreshing to see lesser-known villages as a brief respite from the (very enjoyable) touristy city of Hoi An. We made several stops, including the home of two weavers (hence the skirt in one of my photos), an “old-school” maker of noodles and other rice-based food and a maker of a variety of alcoholic beverages (tasty!). Our guide was completely charming, friendly and informative. Highly recommended!

Review Body: Visited hidden areas and local people in this tour with Vespa. My guide DIEM is really nice and explain to us the local lifestyle in Vietnam. It is bit expensive actually, i really hope the travel company pay the guide, driver, the local people well... Hope our visit can bring some extra income to this local people. Hope the travel company is appreciating the guide efforts and pay them well.

Review Body: I went to the coconut boats first thing. It was only me on the river. The owner (an old woman) and I got to enjoy a nice boat ride together, and laughing as we caught some crabs. The cafe we went to for a coffee I would have never found on my own. Best cao lau I have tried so far for lunch. And walked through an old (tourist free) temple. Overall, definitely did things I wouldn’t have done otherwise

Countryside Vespa tour with hands-on rural life experiences and lunch!
This isn’t your typical tour of Hoi An — it’s an off-the-beaten-path countryside adventure on a vintage Vespa! You’ll wind through peaceful backroads, chat with local farmers, and roll up your sleeves for a few hands-on activities that show you what rural Vietnamese life is all about. While many tours just pass by the scenery, this one invites you in. You’ll visit hidden villages, help make traditional rice noodles, and even see how votive paper and rice wine are made, maybe try wood carving and traditional weaving. It’s immersive, personal, and led by locals who love sharing their stories. If you're the kind of traveller who wants to deeply connect with local life and avoid the usual crowded spots, this is for you!You can even level up your ride: instead of the Vespa, opt for a classic Vietnam Army Jeep for a more comfortable (and equally scenic) journey, especially if it looks like rain. Either way, you’ll get a proper taste of the countryside most visitors miss. What to ExpectA scenic ride along quiet, winding roads through rice fields and villagesFarm visits to learn about local crops like rice and vegetables — try your hand at farming!Hands-on demos: make rice noodles and traditional votive paper offeringsSee countryside crafts including weaving, woodcarving, and rice-wine makingDiscover modern rural trades like bird’s nest farming and aquacultureLovely meal to end your adventureGood to KnowThe experience lasts 4.5 hours, with morning and afternoon time slots availableIf you choose the afternoon tour, it starts with lunch followed by the activitiesPick-up and drop-off are included within Hoi An Ancient Town and nearby areas (within 5km)For places beyond 5km, it’s best to check in advance — additional charges may applyGoes ahead rain or shine — rain ponchos provided so you can ride like a localYou can swap the Vespa for a vintage Vietnam Army Jeep by selecting the add-onLevel Up Your Adventure: Ride the Vietnam Army Legend Jeep!Swap the vintage Vespa for the iconic Vietnam Army Legend Jeep and enjoy a more comfortable countryside adventure, especially during rain, thanks to its protective cover.
