Review Body: We had an amazing experience on this mangrove tour. Our guide, Wan, and the captain were very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Wan shared fascinating information about the mangrove ecosystem and the wildlife that lives there, making the whole experience both enjoyable and educational.
What impressed us the most was their love and respect for nature. Thanks to Wan’s incredible eye for wildlife, we were lucky enough to spot a baby python hidden in the trees, a stunning brown-winged Kingfisher, otters, and even majestic grey eagles. Without his experience and sharp eye, we would have missed many of these amazing animals.
It was also a pleasure to see the wonderful teamwork between Wan and the captain. They worked together in perfect harmony, making the tour feel relaxed, safe, well-organized, and enjoyable from start to finish.
This tour was a real discovery for our family and one of the highlights of our stay in Langkawi. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of the mangroves while learning about this unique ecosystem in a respectful and responsible way. Thank you Wan for such a memorable experience!

Review Body: Today we did the Mangrove tour. We were on board with two families (8 people), plus the guide (Wan) and the skipper (Man).
The reason we chose this company is because they do not use plastic and deliberately do not feed the animals. It goes without saying that both are bad for the animals and the environment.
Wan is truly a great guide. He has real knowledge of the area and incredibly sharp eyesight. As a result, in addition to several birds and monkeys, we also saw animals that are harder to spot, such as a lizard, a snake, and an otter.
Skipper Man steered very safely and was aware of his surroundings.
There are two stops. The first is about half an hour to swim, look for shells, or just relax on the beach. The second stop is lunch, which is very tasty by the way, at a floating restaurant. After lunch, you are brought back to the starting point.
We had a great tour and definitely recommend it. If there is a possibility, I would definitely recommend the combination of guide Wan and skipper Man. Incidentally, lunch, transport to and from our hotel, and the tour itself were all included in the cost.

Review Body: Absolutely amazing! My wife and me booked the sunset tour on a boat. We had luck because we were the only one, so in fact we had a private tour.
The guide (his name Kai?) was almost a Malaysian version of Steve Irwin. His knowledge about and passion for nature was unbelievable! Fenomal guy for real. And the driver of the boat had such a sharp eye for animal spotting. We saw birds, eagles, monkeys, otters and even a snake. This organisation respects nature and natural behaviour, they don’t feed the animals.
After the wildlife tour we went to a beautiful beach for a pitstop. You can swim if you want to. At the end we had a dinner at the river. This was also very special. It was a beautiful day full of memories. A big shoutout to Kay the fantastic guide!!!

Review Body: We had an amazing day on a private tour of the mangroves, seeing all kinds of wildlife, stopping off to swim at a lovely little island beach and then finishing up with lunch at the floating restaurant. A perfect day, made special by the excellent tour guide and boat driver who were both fun and informative throughout. I’d highly recommend Dev’s tours to anyone looking to do this trip. It was made so easy from booking, with a taxi arranged to pick us up from our hotel and drop us back afterwards too. Great communications throughout.

Review Body: We had a fantastic morning exploring the mangroves. Our guide and captain were so knowledgeable and brilliant with our two children 6 and 16 months. We saw a huge amount of wildlife we weren’t expecting to, kept us comfortable in the unpredictable Langkawi weather and topped it off with a great lunch at the floating restaurant. Would highly recommend - couldn’t imagine our trip without this tour!

Review Body: We signed up for a cycling tour with Kay and he was excellent throughout - patient, informative, and caring. Unfortunately, the heat was simply too much for us and we had to stop halfway because one of us was feeling faint. Kay immediately took charge by guiding the remaining two guests back to the bike rental area before coming back for us in a car. He did so quickly and was very attentive to our health and safety.
We also had the best time with Sabrina on the Golden Hour Mangrove Kayaking tour. She guided us expertly through the mangroves and showed us such a good time. She was endlessly informative and so patient with us. And what is more, she was so passionate about the environment and taught us so much about what responsible tourism means.

Review Body: We enjoyed a brilliant sunset kayaking tour with Dev’s Adventure Tours, who took us deep into the mangroves of the Kilim Geoforest Park. Kayaking in Kilim was my top experience in Malaysia! We also joined a cycling tour with Dev’s Adventure Tours. Cycling was another peaceful way of connecting with the people who live on the island. I loved cycling through the rice fields, the fishing village and visiting the fish market.

Review Body: The hotel pick up was prompt and the driver polite. The cycling tour with Yun and Sabrina was informative and relaxing. A steady pace through villages and rice fields with frequent stops to see wildlife; Kingfishers, Monitor lizards, Hornbills, Kites and a tree snake.
History, legends and fishing boats in the mix too. Two very pleasant guides. Thank you for the experience.

Private cruise through quiet Kilim mangroves during golden hour
If you want to see Kilim Geoforest Park without the usual midday boat traffic, this 4-hour late-afternoon mangrove cruise is the better pick. Most mangrove tours go out earlier, when the main waterways are busier. This one heads out as the day cools and the crowds start to thin, so the ride feels calmer, the scenery is easier to take in, and wildlife watching is less disrupted. It’s a good fit for travellers who want a more respectful, nature-first way to experience Langkawi. You’ll pass towering limestone karsts, cruise through mangrove channels, and enter smaller tributaries when the tide allows, including Crocodile Cave. There’s also a short stretch out into the Andaman Sea for wider coastal views, plus a beach landing and swim stop. Along the way, keep an eye out for white-bellied sea eagles, Brahminy kites and macaques along the banks. What makes this stand out even more is the guiding style. A locally trained nature guide stays with you throughout, sharing how the mangroves work, how local communities have lived with these waterways, and why the wildlife is never fed or handled. Hotel transfers, dinner at a floating restaurant, and refillable water bottles are all included, so it’s easy to do this with a lighter footprint. What to Expect4-hour late-afternoon cruise through the quieter hours of Kilim Karst Geoforest ParkNature guide on board throughout the journeyRoute may include limestone formations, mangrove forest, smaller tributaries, Crocodile Cave, monkey habitat and eagle-viewing areasSea cruise out into the Andaman Sea for a different view of Langkawi’s coastlinePossible beach landing and swim stop, depending on tide and weather conditionsDinner at a floating restaurant overlooking the mangrovesHotel transfers and refillable water bottles includedNo wildlife feeding or staged animal interactionsGood to KnowBest for travellers who prefer a slower, nature-focused trip over a fast sightseeing runLate-afternoon timing usually means cooler weather and less river traffic than daytime departuresAccess to smaller channels and some stops depends on tide and weatherWildlife sightings vary, but eagles, kites and macaques are commonly seenDinner is included; share dietary needs in advanceBooking details mention both join-in and private elements, so confirm the exact boat setup if exclusivity matters to you
