Experience the Jurassic Park-like Mt Rinjani summit trek!
This 3D2N experience offers a Mt Rinjani summit trek via a unique route, which some have likened to hiking through real-life Jurassic Park.Starting in Torean village, you will pass through the grand tropical forest, come across the famous Penimbungan Waterfall and a beautiful river in the middle of the mountains, all before summiting.Along the way you will be camping at the crater rim and near the gorgeous Segara Anak Lake. Your guide and porters will prepare your meals and help you to set up camp. You'll also have a chance to participate in a community tree planting project by planting a seedling along the way. This not only absorbs CO2 emissions, but helps to prevent local brush fires as well. What to ExpectFree night stay at Green Rinjani Guesthouse the night before the trek3 days and 2 nights of adventure through challenging yet beautiful trailsCamping by the lake with amazing viewsHiking to Sembalun Crater RimReaching the summit of RinjaniPreservation of the mountain through community initiativesStunning views of Segara Anak Lake and surrounding islandsThe three-day journey is broken down as follows:Day 1 The trail from Sembalun Village to Segara Anak :Distance: 8,2 kmDuration: 5-6 hoursDifficulty: ModerateHighest point: 1,400 MElevation gain: 815 mDay 2Trail from Segara Anak to Sembalun Crater RimDistance: 3,4 kmDuration : 3-4 hoursDifficulty: ModerateHighest point: 2,639 m (Sembalun crater rim )Elevation gain: 639 mDay 3Distance: 5kmDuration: 6-7 hoursDifficulty: very difficultHighest point: 3726 m (mount Rinjani trekking summit )Height gain: +1,087 mNote:This trekking program is best suited for intermediate and advanced hikers, as it requires a good level of fitness and endurance.People with mountain sickness or height phobias should not participate.Itinerary is weather dependent, and the trek may be cancelled in cases of inclement weather.Entrance ticket is limited to 250 people/day.
