Make your own mead at Tiny Bee Farm 🍯
Forget the liquor store – why buy mead when you can brew your own legendary honey wine and take home an incredible story? At The Sundowner, we're the only place where you can make mead from scratch while getting up close with the honeybees that make it all possible!Your adventure begins in 16th-century Europe, where our mead-making tradition was born. Newlyweds were commonly given a month (a full moon's worth of this magical honey wine gave us the term "honeymoon"!). Legend says it blessed couples with fertility and... let's just say it worked! 🍯You'll enjoy a quick tour of our apiary to meet our honeybees up close, and understand why and how honey is made. Enjoy browsing our extensive honey library specialising in uniflorals from across Southeast Asia, and exotics from Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Sample some of our honeys and house meads available, and select your favourite honey varietal to "yeast up"! As you make your very own bottle of mead, you'll understand the cool science behind fermentation. Finally, walk away with your own developing bottle of artisanal alcohol or even buy a few from us. It makes a perfect gift or story to tell!Birthday CelebrationsIf you are celebrating a birthday, let us know in the Notes section of the booking form! Your hosts, Clarence and Candice, will gift you a jar of honey to make your special day even sweeter and more unforgettable. 🎁*Minimum 4 pax to start a session. If the minimum number of participants isn't met, the workshop will be rescheduled. Please see the Cancellation Policy before confirming your order.
