Slow down with flowers and tea in a cosy heritage home
Escape the hustle of city life and immerse yourself in the calming world of floral arrangement. In 1.5 hours, you will slow down over fresh blooms and tea, and create your own vase arrangement in a private home setting that feels intimate, unhurried, and beginner-friendly.What makes this stand out is the mood. Instead of a fast, technical class, the session focuses on mindful arranging — learning how flowers fall naturally, how to balance shape and texture, and how to style blooms in a way you can actually repeat at home. The guidance is gentle and hands-on, so even first-timers can relax into it.This is especially nice for birthdays, a catch-up with a friend, or anyone who needs a breather from Singapore’s pace. If you are celebrating a birthday, you will also receive a floral wearable such as a bracelet, hairpin, or corsage — a thoughtful extra touch that makes the session feel even more personal. What to ExpectA 1.5-hour floral arrangement workshop in a private Tiong Bahru heritage homeHands-on guidance on creating a natural, styled vase arrangementTips on shape, balance, and how to work with flowers more intuitivelyFresh flowers, vase, and all materials providedCoffee or tea during the sessionYour finished floral arrangement to bring homeGood to KnowNo experience is needed. Meet your host
Jimin was born in South Korea, where the year moves through four distinct seasons. Growing up close to those natural rhythms shaped her relationship with flowers, and later became the foundation of her creative work. But floral arrangement became more than a creative outlet for her. Jimin fell in love with it because it was meditative in a way nothing else had been. Unlike other forms of meditation she had tried, working with flowers helped her step out of her busy mind, ease her anxiety, and become fully present with what was in front of her.
After training in floristry in both Korea and Singapore, she started her mindful flower classes in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown. Her aim was to share the same sense of calm she had found through flowers — helping people bring more nature into their daily lives, and experience the joy of making something with their hands. Her floral style is rooted in classic elegance, with a whimsical twist. She also places emphasis on earth-conscious design and more sustainable floral practices in her teaching.
Today, Jimin hosts intimate floral arrangement workshops in a private heritage home in Tiong Bahru, where guests are invited to slow down, work with fresh blooms, and reconnect with the simple act of being present.
