So glad we chose a liveaboard! Oby and his crew did a fantastic job keeping away from the crowds. We felt like we had our own private paradise. Snorkel sites were superb. We’re in Indonesia for a Raja Ampat dive trip and this was meant to be a fun addition. This could have been the main attraction by itself. The biodiversity of the area was astounding - the coral was vibrant and the sea life - turtles, manta rays, schools, sting rays, sharks, and tons of blue starfish, clownfish, angelfish ….. The hike to Padar point was stunning. Saw a group of Komodo dragons feasting on a recent pig kill in the Park. Hard to believe all the things we did in just 3 days. Oh, and the food was awesome! Would absolutely recommend and would come back!

The tour was perfect and the crew amazing! I dont want to hype the wild life too much but let’s just say we were very lucky at each stop 🙏

I took part in a 3-day / 2-night cruise around the Komodo National Park area on board the beautiful, brand-new phinisi Kai Voyage (organized by Travass Life, with the Kai Voyage ship and crew led by Mr. Ryon, guide Bruno, and photographer Syafa). The cruise was absolutely outstanding and exceeded my expectations. Even though I slept in the dormitory (Quad Deluxe on the lower deck), I felt extremely comfortable. The cabin was spacious, clean, well-maintained, and fully air-conditioned - noticeably more comfortable than typical shared cabins on traditional phinisi yachts. The ship itself, completed in 2026, is impressive: elegant, stylish, smelling of fresh wood, with beautifully designed common areas - from the stern lounge and dining room/saloon to the rooftop lounge and bowsprit daybed. The crew deserves special praise - wonderful, helpful, smiling, kind, and always available. Mr. Ryon and the entire team took care of every detail, while Bruno as the guide expertly led the excursions and shared interesting information about the places we visited. Photographer Syafa captured many beautiful moments. The meals and snacks were fantastic - fresh, delicious, varied, and served with great attention to detail. I was truly impressed by the quality of the food on board. The itinerary was perfectly balanced - there was enough time for island exploration, snorkeling, water activities, as well as for relaxing on deck, enjoying the views, or simply lounging on the daybeds. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and truly restorative.I wholeheartedly recommend this cruise to anyone looking to combine comfort, stunning scenery, and an authentic Indonesian experience. Kai Voyage really is a stylish sanctuary at sea.

It is impossible to put into words how amazing our trip was. From the boat, to the crew, the food and the activities, we enjoyed every part of it. Our guides Roberto and Gimbal were so amazing, showed us the greatest spots and were also a lot of fun (including by learning us the Flores dance). The food was also amazing, every meal was very delicious. It was definitely one of the better boats that are out there. It was the highlight of our 5 week trip in Indonesia. I recommend everyone to go with Carnaby I, you will not regret it!
