Review Body: Gili Divers gave me an experience I’ll never forget. I signed up for their Try Dive, which started with an hour of pool practice to get comfortable, and from that moment I knew I was in good hands. The instructors are not only highly skilled but also genuinely caring, they make sure you feel safe and confident before heading into the ocean. I’ve always been uneasy around the sea, but my instructor, Sergie, made the whole process effortless. Once we were underwater, all I had to do was breathe, equalize, and take in the stunning marine life around me. I felt completely at ease and could truly enjoy the magic of diving without fear. This was easily the highlight of my entire trip. If you’re considering scuba for the first time, don’t hesitate, Gili Divers will make it an incredible and worry-free experience.

My instructor Elisa was amazing — super friendly, patient, and made me feel completely comfortable the whole time. She explained everything so clearly and kept me calm and confident underwater. Her energy and encouragement really made the experience unforgettable! Would 100% recommend Gili Divers to anyone thinking of giving scuba a try — you’ll be in great hands!

They make sure you feel comfortable and take precaution and safety very seriously. A special thanks to Jimmy for being a great dive master and instructor. Review Body: Went diving with my partner and had a phenomenal time. We did the Discovery Dive. Our instructor Adrian was patient, knowledgeable, and assisted us throughout the dive. Highly recommend Gili Divers for either an intro to diving or their open water course. Felt safe and confident. Our photographer Soizic was fabulous as well! Stunning video footage.

I started doing a discovery dive and she was so supportive that I felt confident and comfortable enough with her to go through and complete my open water cert. It's calm waters and amazing turtle life are a great setting for a beginner to get hooked on diving. With this course, you will also start with a pool session to get comfortable, then head out for two guided ocean dives at stunning beginner-friendly dive sites.What makes this special? Unlike some quick intro dives, this experience includes not just one but two open water dives, giving you more time to explore Gili's incredible marine life. Plus, with small group sizes (max four divers per instructor), you'll get plenty of personal attention to feel safe and supported. This dive centre was founded in 2010 by Jenny and Neill after years of experience in Thailand, turning a small beachside shack into one of the island’s most established dive shops. With a diverse team of instructors from around the world, they offer everything from fun dives to professional-level training across multiple certification agencies. Their operation is fully equipped with boats, accommodation, and training pools, making diving easy and accessible. They’re also deeply involved in the local community, supporting eco initiatives and training local divemasters. Now managed by Jill and Nicolas, the dive centre maintains a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere while ensuring high-quality diving experiences for all levels. It’s a place where divers feel at home, both in and out of the water.
