Ian begon Simplicity Wines in 2022 nadat hij merkte dat er iets ontbrak in de wereld van wine events: oprechte menselijke verbinding. Omdat hij is opgegroeid in de kunst- en entertainmentwereld, brengt hij in alles wat hij doet een warme, nuchtere energie mee. Wat begon als een eenvoudig idee om wijnkennis te delen, is uitgegroeid tot iets veel betekenisvollers. Ian creëert ervaringen die persoonlijk en doordacht aanvoelen, niet ingestudeerd of gericht op verkopen. Hij heeft gewerkt met grote bedrijven als Shell en BlackRock, maar vindt teruggeven net zo belangrijk: door lokale initiatieven in Singapore te steunen en samen te werken met wijnhuizen die zich richten op duurzaamheid. In de kern draait het Ian om mensen samenbrengen met een goed glas wijn en een goed gesprek.
