Review Body: B&J TDR was just the BEST! We recently travelled as a couple (in our 30s) to B&J Diver Resort to do the PADI OWD accreditation and some fun diving. When looking at places to go we were deciding between Blue Heaven diving and B&J, we ended up going with B&J because of the accomodation and I'm so so happy we did. Not that Blue Heaven didn't seem good, but B&J has great accomodation and a lovely vibe. All the staff (from receptionist to dive masters to cleaners) were really friendly, helpful and caring. The accomodation was basic but clean, neat, well-maintained and very comfortable. The divemasters and other staff operate a simple bar on the premises in the evenings and it's the perfect spot to watch the sunset with a can of Tiger after a big day of diving - listening to some good tunes and hanging out with your divemaster and fellow dive buddies. You can hire their kayak or canoe, use your mask & fins from diving to go snorkelling and go for walks in the jungle. There are multiple good simple restaurants all along ABC within 1-15 min walk from B&Js. Apart from being good value, the diving itself was fantastic in terms of locations and different types/levels of difficulty being catered to, and I have to say our divemasters were all fantastic. Really lovely people, very patient and with a good focus on safety and fun! I think the word 'resort' in the title may give people the wrong idea though, this place is basic in terms of services (ie/ no pool for casual swimming - except for the pool used for the confined water dive courses, no fancy things). Some people come to dive and then go to a fancier resort for a place to relax on a sandy beach or by a pool. This place is best for those people who don't want to spend their holiday in their hotel room or beside a pool - somewhere affordable, cheerful and fun. I would highly recommend B&J TDR to everyone looking for this kind of holiday.

Review Body: Had an amazing stay here for 4D3N while completing my Open Water Diving Course at B&J Dive Centre right in front of the resort. Location: 5 mins walk from ABC jetty, a few steps from the beach, dive centre and bar. There's no big roads and cars here. Only motorbikes and bicycles which makes it a very peaceful escape. Room: Really cozy and spacious. The beds are very comfy (which is very important especially after a long day of dive training). The room has all the important amenities like hot showers, soap, towels, safe box, tv, aircond and ceiling fan, mini bar, closets, places to dry your swimwear and decent wifi connection. Didn't expect the daily room cleaning too. It was simply amazing! Service: Everyone here is really friendly and helpful. Big smiles all the time. Martin helped us with the arrangements of the room and ferry. The whole process was easy and simple. Tips: The beach in front is rocky and it's suitable for snorkeling and diving as the corals are just right there. Sandy beaches can be found on the other side of ABC at the marine park (about 15-20 mins walk). In terms of places to eat, there's plenty of eateries nearby that serves a variety of dishes from local to western cuisines in a quaint kampung setting. You can always ask anyone of the B&J team for recommendations. Conclusion: I had a wonderful time and I'm already thinking of coming back again real soon!

Review Body: Stayed 3 nights in executive king room. The room was new, clean, extremely comfortable and beautifully designed. Room was spacious with a very comfy king size bed, a sofa with table, a TV table, cabinets, and another set of table with chairs just right outside of the room. Adequate racks outside to hang your wet clothes. Full amenities including a small fridge, air con, working hot water rain shower, safe, dvd player, cups with coffee/tea satchets, and toiletries. There is a small swimming pool specially designed for diving. This resort is ideal for travellers coming for a dive. There is no lift, but we got a ground floor room so it was not an issue. 2 free water filling stations available within the resort. All rooms are not facing the sea, but it is compensated by tasteful gardening around the resort. There is no restaurant within the hotel, but plenty of eateries just adjacent. There is a bar selling affordable alcohol. The beach here is rocky, mainly for diving purposes. Further out the shore there are many sea urchins, so beware when heading out via the shore. All in all, the hotel rooms are above our expectation, rooms were more beautiful than in photos, and at an affordable price. Totally worth the stay as affordable and good accommodation in tioman is hard to come by.

Review Body: I had a fall from a bicycle. We informed Ash who was at the reception. He put iodine and plaster and that was helpful. But of all what surprised me was the housekeeper named Bella. She saw me my injury cleaning my room. She came close and had a closer look. She quickly ran and got a first aid box. She placed my feet on her lap, cleaned my wound, put iodine and placed plaster. On top, she gave 2 extras to keep in case it comes out. What shocked me was, i gave her some cash, as a appreciation. She told me NO, . She said even if she have seen me on the street, she would have done that. My son and i were shocked to see a lady who have a good character. She was helpful and gone above and beyond the call of her duty. She painstaking provided the first aid to alleviated my pain Her intergrity made her bring proud to the resort. She deserves a promotion in her job. Management plse she our kindness to Bella. She have brought pride to your resort. We have travelled to many countries but never have we seen someone rejecting money for the help. She is a jem. Applause to her. We will return back her for sure.

From coordinating my missing checked in bag with Malindo Air, to some beautiful dives, to the amazing frozen strawberry mojitos, and some really lovely conversations and sharing of dive experiences/videos/photos, I had an absolute blast! Review Body: This is my first time to Tioman Island, and got this dive resort as my diving center for my license. Instructor and helper here are very helpful and friendly, especially instructor really being very patience to us. Too sad that the ferry schedule is not as many as other commercial island, we were too rush for the last session of diving and end up rushing to the jetty. Overall the experience in Tioman Dive Resort is great and you will feel yourself in a original organic island, no commercial feeling and won't hard sell stuff or souvenirs to you. Must come back for diving!

Review Body: A 5 star equivalent accommodation along ABC. Hot showers, huge rooms, TV and mini fridge in every room. Daily room service included as well! Right behind B&J diving centre, so if you're diving there, that's the best place to stay here. Right in front of the resort is also a bar, which is the only one along their side of the road (the other bar is about 5-10min walk away). However early booking is advised as the place can get booked up pretty quickly, even if yr intended visit date is a few months away.

Review Body: Fantastic place to stay: great facilities and outstanding diving options/organisation. ABC Beach is the perfect place to base oneself for a few days while on Tioman: lots of reasnably priced diving and non-diving activities, delicious kampong eating options and wonderful sunsets. The B&J Dive bar balcony was a very relaxing place to finish each day. Particular thanks to my Brit instructor Daisy, who took me on my first-ever night dive. So many positive memories to take away from my time here!

Review Body: Tioman Dive Resort is only 5-7 minutes walk after getting off the ferry (the stop of ABC or Air Batang). Dormitory with hot shower is absolutely value for money. The air-conditioning is only on from 7pm to 7am, but the room is still comfortable with the fan during other times of the day. The bar with open sea view opens at 5pm and is an awesome place to hang out. Guest could easily chat with other guests or the staff, including dive instructors. The atmosphere is very welcoming.

Review Body: Perfect location, especially when you are diving. A couple of good restaurants just walking distance from our room. We love the eco-friendly concept with the water dispensers and a refillable bottle in our room. Rooms are spacious and clean with ample space to dry our wet clothes and dive gear. Beds are very comfortable. Tioman Dive Resort is linked to B&J Dive Centre and a bar. Couldn't ask for more in Tioman.

Booked a triple room while doing my OWD course and though nothing fancy, here are what I like about my stay: - Clean & neat - Daily housekeeping - No bottled water provided, but the water dispensing machine is available (Good job for being environmentally friendly!) - Friendly and courteous staff - Lots of eateries around

And just the best taxi service from Mersing to Singapore! Dropping us off exactly were we wanted! I will come back and use your services again! Also excellent dive instructors! Friendly and easy! Review Body: I think the resort is a bit overpiced considering there aren't any amenities included. However, I have no complaint whatsoever on the hotel itself. The rooms are nice and spacious, great beds, hot water, aircon and fan. It's super comfy to have their dive shop in the same building though. That's the main reason why we stayed here and loved it!

Review Body: One of the nicest dive resort along this beach. Spacious rooms, clean and good amenities for a dive resort. Staffs are friendly and helpful as well. Definitely more of a diver place and not suitable for families and non-divers in general, as it is a quiet village with limited food choices. Beach along this village is rather rocky as well.

Review Body: the location is perfect, the room is comfort and large, clean and fresh air, good balcony, nice view and good staff there is no breakfast, there is no mini markets around, only small grocery, the diving need to learn at least four days, my sandals got damage but I cant find any one sell sleepers.

Review Body: Friendly, clean and well located - just a stones throw from a bar, restaurant, several trails and of a short wade into the sea to the house reef. It's the perfect detox from city life! We keep returning (several times per year). The staff are great and always up for sharing a beer in the evening.
