Create a timeless ceramic dish inspired by antique European forms.
If you want a pottery class where you make something you’d actually use at home, this is the one. Instead of the usual beginner mug or bowl, this small 2-hour class helps you create a thin, light, food-safe serving dish using antique-style moulds with an old European feel. The big difference is the finish - you’ll work with premium materials and curated moulds to create a piece that is not only beautiful on its own, but even more striking when used for serving and plating food. With 30 years of pottery experience, plus training in food styling, your host pays close attention to form, balance, and the little details - ensuring your final piece looks amazing on your dinner table. What to Expect2-hour join-in pottery class in a small, intimate settingCreate a one-of-a-kind, food-safe ceramic dish using antique mouldsLearn slab rolling, mould selection, edge refining, and decorative techniquesAdd your own personal details to make the piece uniquely yoursCollect your finished piece after approximately 5 weeks with touch-ups from your hostGood to KnowThe default dish is a small plate (<18cm).
