An amazing experience! Lovely stuff and service, delicious food and a possibility to learn a lot. Definitely recommend it!

A winning choice, you won't go wrong, as we mulled quite a bit between this and the usual trek up Mt. Batur but this one is super special and has much higher chances of seeing the sunrise. Our driver, Lita, was incredibly friendly and helpful. The guides Wie (also the boat captain) and Nawa shared openly about the area, life in the Mt Batur area. We climbed for just under an hour, it was dark and a bit damp but once the sun rose...heavenly. Even the guides were stunned into silence by the sunrise. Sadly Mt. Batur itself was covered in cloud the entire time so we were very happy to have chosen the caldera climb as our view was unobstructed and perfect. Probably the best sunrise i've seen. Breakfast was simple but filling, exactly what was needed. As an added bonus, Nawa conducted a full photo session that turned out so professionally. We added the Trunyan village cemetary which was so an honour to visit. Wie/the captain was kindly entertained all our questions and stops for photos. The boat ride on the lake was so relaxing and beautiful. Dealing with Seek Sophie has been such a pleasure, they were patient with all my questions and the staff working for them are pretty great.

This is a great morning activity- it’s outside of Ubud, so very peaceful set in a traditional Bali house complex. The teachers were very patient and helpful. I’ve never done batik before but I was really pleased with the result - highly recommended!

Incredible experience!!! My friend and I both felt very much supported and cared for during the entire journey and blessing by lovely Putu and her lovely cousin, and it was a highlight of our time in Ubud. Highly recommend.

As one who rarely writes reviews , I must say that Putu was up there with the best of the best drivers/tour guide. I would not think of hiring anyone else. We have been to Bali previously so our experience was to experience special off the beaten path locations.

Really well run and professional. Comfortable bikes and felt very safe on the road and trails. My guide Ben was really happy to answer my questions and generally chat about life in Bali.

One of the most memorable activities and a wonderful end to the day. We learned so much about fireflies, the importance of it to the ecosystem, and why they are disappearing in this day and age. The hosts are so knowledgeable and friendly and we really felt so at ease and comfortable. While there wasn't a whole field of fireflies (please manage your expectations - they are doing their best to bring up its population) , it was still such a great experience to see the fireflies twinkle in the night, paired with the stars in the sky. The food was also so delicious and meticulously prepared and I enjoyed every bite.
I would really recommend this activity if you are willing to travel out (please get a private driver as this is quite a far trip from Ubud Central). The session is very intimate and not suitable if you are travelling with people who are scared of the dark, icky with bugs, and noisy yappers.

Our family had the incredible opportunity to delve into the wonders of Bali's natural and cultural heritage. Witnessing the mesmerizing glow of fireflies in their natural habitat was not only a visual delight but also an educational experience for our family, highlighting the rarity and beauty of these luminous insects.
Equally enjoyable was our hands-on participation in preparing and savoring traditional Indonesian dishes and also watching the intricate process of making coconut milk and oil which provided us with a deeper appreciation for Balinese culinary traditions.
Wayan and his team, many of whom are his family members, extended warm hospitality that made us feel truly welcome. Their prompt communication prior to our visit ensured a seamless experience.
Given the location's setting amidst a lush forest, we recommend wearing long sleeves and pants and applying mosquito repellent.
For those seeking an authentic and special experience in Bali, this adventure comes highly recommended.
