The family is super welcoming, friendly and heartwarming: once you reach you get dressed in local clothing and you something to drink with local sweets. They explain about the daily house offerings and how to make them. In every step there is a clear instruction and background information. I did the Canang sari making with my almost 68 yr old fit mom and it was so sweet to see the grandma’s reaction to her. I would normally not have picked this kind of activity but because of my mom we choose this experience and i loved it!! I highly recommend Pranasanthi Yoga not only because of the heartwarming way they organise this but also to support local small businesses!

I loved very much the atmosphere quiet and peaceful far from the jungle traffic,as the patience and calm of my teacher... I found everything perfect, materials, balinese dress and time organization... I have to say also that's a lot complicated make these canang sari as understand the correct disposition of all the flowers cause everything simbolizes something else so it's important for me that someone who knows explains it to me! Really fantastic experience that i highly recommend..keep patience and never stop trying 😍 Special thanks to Ita and Niha🫶

Located outside the bustling area of Ubud, Five Arts Studio offered a peaceful environment that allows for so much creativity. I was guided by a few wonderfully patient teachers who guided and explained to me each step of the process, and learnt the true meaning of the word 'batik'. My piece was inspired by a piece hanging on the wall, so the artist himself showed me his technique to get the waves in the background. The studio itself offers five different types of workshops which include batik, wood carving and miniature Keliki painting. Thank you Seek Sophie for helping me discover this incredible gem, I would 100% return on my next Bali trip :-)
