Even though its still in mainland Singapore the vibes in Sentosa are a bit more chilled, so even spending a few hours here feels like an island getaway! Come here for its attractions, the beaches/beach clubs, yacht trips to Lazarus island, for a staycation or just cycle around.
People know Sentosa for attractions like Universal Studios, the Aquarium & the casino. But you can also kayak fish, island hop on a yacht, and hike rainforests for a change.
Sentosa gets crowded with tourists in Nov-Dec and during school holidays (June, Dec). For fewer crowds, visit outside of these peak periods and avoid the rainy season (Dec-Mar).
Sentosa's manicured attractions cater to everyone, particularly families. However, hidden gems exist for nature lovers – think rainforest hikes and unexpected wildlife!
If you're there to swim, note the waters aren't ideal due to nearby tankers. Sentosa can feel manicured, but you can seek out its hidden gems for a more authentic experience!
