We had a wonderful few hours learning to cook and bake some Spanish classics with Al. Super friendly vibe, relaxed atmosphere and informative…myself, my wife and my parents enjoyed getting busy in the kitchen and learning a few tricks from Al. The house is incredible too - very homely and filled with charm and history in every corner. We highly recommend the cooking experience and I’m sure we’ll go back for a feast sometime very soon.

Al was very friendly to open his home for a lunch, and patiently explained each dish and alcohol that he served! We had a better understanding of cultures born out of food, and not to mention Al's cooking was fantastic. Kudos and I look forward to finding another opportunity to dine again.

Our group absolutely enjoyed the experience with Chef Al and Natalie. They were great hosts, provided a cosy cooking environment and delivered a unique private dining experience. It was a wonderful afternoon spent in their tastefully decorated shophouse, learning new culinary knowledge and enjoying delicious Spanish soul food. Thank you Al and Natalie, we will be back for another of your private dining session.

I came across Med@59JCT while searching for a unique Father’s Day gift for both my husband and dad. We were not disappointed - and in fact, came away with not only a culinary and gastronomic experience, but also an afternoon of really stimulating and eye-opening conversations with the hosts, Al and Natalie (who I guarantee will be among the most interesting and unique Singaporeans you’ll ever meet). The setting of the private kitchen itself is an architectural and design marvel. The dishes and the stories behind them were tantalising (and my dad was so happy to take home leftovers). The wine choices were plentiful and the two we picked were delicious. Al and Natalie with their warm hospitality and intriguing life stories were just the icing on the cake. It was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had and highly recommend it.
