Review Body: The 2nd time we joined SALTT workshop for our 9 years old. Very passionate team, just that the place very remote. Hope that they will have more workshops in the central area (shopping malls, etc). My daughter enjoys their sessions always.

Review Body: This was 1 of the better workshops that we have attended to-date! Royston was really approachable and encouraging! The whole session was very informative and thorough! We get to do cheeseboards from scratch! The final product was perfect! Right after the session ended, we were already planning to sign up for the next one! Will definitely recommend this workshop to people who are interested in woodwork or would like to have a handmade and unique cheeseboard! Thanks for the photos and so sorry for broking two blades!

Review Body: Despite there being cancellation by other kids for the same time slot as my kid’s, the class proceeded (she was the only one!). It was completely hands on and my girl enjoyed it! The trainer was patient and encouraging and paced the learning at an approved level for my child. Overall, excellent experience! I will be back :)

Itinerary Summary: Design and woodworking workshop for kids!
Itinerary Description: Learn the very basics of design: sketch, ideate, work with constraints, and take ideas from your imagination to real life.
Create either a vehicle, train, airplane, or anything else from your brain!
Understand the constraints and how to problem solve around them.
Expand creative thinking by object substitution, using one object to represent something else.
A woodworking version of Montessori building blocks, taking it one step further by creating a toy that you can interact with!
Be introduced to a variety of woodworking tools and how to correctly use these tools in a safe manner.
Note: Our coming workshop on 17 Feb 2024 is for children between age 5-8.

Give your kids an opportunity to explore natural material and construct their own toy!Children experience the satisfaction of completing their wood project under the supervision of an experienced adult facilitator. They will be provided with materials to personalise their own train.Spatial skills are needed for success in a variety of technical careers - including engineering, architecture, dentistry, computer programming and more. Saltt Workshop aims to engage a child's imagination while imparting basic life skills. The open-ended nature of the sessions permits children to explore their own assumptions, make mistakes and harness their own problem-solving skills.NotesPlease note that there will be no use of power tools for safety of the children.Please wear closed toe shoes to the venueThis activity requires a minimum of 4 persons to proceed. You may book for fewer than 4 persons but if there are fewer than 4 persons booked for the date, you may reschedule to another date.
