Pause the busy life. Embrace slow days in a mountain farmstay. 🌿🐾🌄
Are you living in a big city, tired of the noise and chaos? Maybe you’ve been dreaming of a place nearby the mountains where you can finally pause, slow down, and breathe. Or perhaps you’ve wondered what it’s like to live on a farmstay — waking up to fresh air, surrounded by animals, and a slower, kinder rhythm of life. That’s exactly what you’ll find here in this cozy corner of Chiang Dao. It’s a place where time moves slower and your heart gets to rest a little deeper. Hidden in a quiet mountain valley, this 3-day, 2-night retreat is for anyone craving a breather from the world and a gentle return to themselves 🌿It all began with Yidan — a kind, funny soul with the biggest heart. Years ago, she rescued animals off the streets and dreamed of giving them a forever home. That dream blossomed into this beautiful sanctuary, where curious ducks waddle by, sleepy cats nap in the sun, and friendly dogs greet you like an old friend. Everything here is built with love — for the land, the animals, and the people who find their way here. You’ll stay in a bamboo eco-home with stunning views of Doi Luang Chiang Dao. Mornings begin with yoga by the lotus pond, followed by nourishing farm-to-table breakfasts. Then, you’ll spend your days painting with pigments from nature, foraging herbs by hand, and creating your own indigo-dyed keepsake — sweet reminders of slowing down and being present.Evenings are for family-style dinners under the stars ✨ and long, soul-soothing soaks in natural hot springs. Whether you come solo or with a friend, you’ll be welcomed like family — and probably leave with a few new ones too. This retreat isn’t about doing more. It’s about softening, connecting, and letting yourself be taken care of — by nature, by the animals, and by the gentle magic Yidan has created here.Come as you are. Leave lighter, inspired, and a little more in love with life 💛What to ExpectWake up surrounded by the gentle sounds of nature and stunning mountain views that make every morning feel like a fresh new beginning.Start your day with slow, soothing stretches by a serene lotus pond — the perfect way to ease into a peaceful mindset.Farm-to-Table Delights: Savor nourishing breakfasts, lunches, and dinners made with love, using fresh ingredients handpicked from the garden and farm.Let your creativity bloom as you paint with natural dyes and experiment with indigo dyeing — all guided by caring hands.Wander the beautiful farm alongside waddling ducks, curious cats, and friendly dogs, as Yidan shares stories of this loving sanctuary.End your day with a blissful soak in natural hot springs beneath a sparkling sky — pure relaxation for body and soul.Share laughter, stories, and quiet moments around the dinner table and in reflective circles that nourish your heart.Leave with a special keepsake — a little reminder of your time slowing down, reconnecting, and being cared for.Good to KnowIncludes farm stay for 2 nights, return transfers from Chiang Dao Bus Station, 5 meals & 3 workshopsYou'll need to arrange your own transport to Chiang Dao Bus Station if coming from Chiang MaiWorkshops are designed for all levels — no experience neededThe retreat runs rain or shine, with indoor spaces available for wet weather daysThis is a private experience just for you and your group, though there may be other guests staying in separate rooms on the farmFacilitiesCommunal gathering spacesEco-friendly amenitiesHigh-speed WiFi (but you may not want to use it!)Cancellation policyCancel more than 10 days before your retreat: You'll receive a full refund.Cancel 7–5 days before: A 30% cancellation fee will be charged.Cancel less than 5 days before: A 50% cancellation fee will be charged.

Meet your host
Yidan moved to Chiang Dao after a big life shift and found something she didn’t know she was looking for—a place that reminded her of the countryside where she spent the happiest years of her childhood. Originally from China, she came to Thailand for work, but it was the stillness of Chiang Dao that made her stay. With just her savings, her dog Lucky, and a lot of heart, she built a bamboo home and started a small organic garden. She now works closely with local, creating something thoughtful and rooted in the land. Yidan’s space isn’t flashy—it’s quiet, genuine, and built with care, much like the way she lives.
