This is a stay at Janggut River Side Rest House, that offers spacious and airy accommodation on the riverside of Sungai Janggut. This includes breakfast, dinner and 2 boat trips! 

Whilst here, one can indulge in a multitude of family-bonding and fishing village activities. The host will take you on a sunset boat trip to Pulau Angsa for you to get a taste of the local fishermen life and harvest fresh oysters off the rocks. You will also visit Malaysia's own Uyuni Salt Lake - Sky Mirror, where you can take dreamy pictures! Foodies would love it here too because you will be served delicious steamboat dinner.

Meet your host

Janggut Resthouse was built from a recycled shipping container by a local family in Sungai Janggut. The resthouse offers a spectacular sea view and tranquil atmosphere for guests who wish to take a break from the hustle-bustle. The owner also has broad knowledge about the ecology of the mangrove surroundings and fishing village; guests will surely learn a thing or two from him.
