Review Body: We did the Tiger Cave Series full experience and it definitely did not disappoint. After the start, we found out we were the first ones doing the tour after the reopening after the floodings. Furthermore, it appeared we had a private tour! Words cannot properly describe how good our experience was. The jungle trekking part is challenging, but do-able, and was very fun to do. The caves we stayed at were stunning. Our tour guide Messi was very helpful, kind and made awesome photos. The trip is a good combination of adrenaline spiked parts with more easy walks. The food and campsite were unreal good, it did not feel like camping in the middle of nowhere due to the care of the staff. Even though there were some challenges (leeches, heavy rain during the night and slippery slopes), it was a great adventure. Would definitely recommend!

Review Body: We did the Tiger Cave tour with Messi (MVP!) as our guide. The caves were absolutely incredible, and trekking through the jungle was beautiful. Messi took lots of incredible photos and videos of us and sent later via Whatsapp, which we really appreciated as we were too in the moment to take many photos ourselves. He also taught us card games in the evenings :) Our safety assistant, chef, and porters were the BEST! We were very appreciative of them as they carried all of the camping gear, our clothes, and all of the food while keeping us safe and very, very well fed. The food was incredible, and every single staff member was warm and welcoming. Showering in the cave pools was a cool experience, and the toilets were very clean and comfortable (considering you're in the middle of the jungle!). Lots of fun and highly recommend!

Review Body: Honestly this was one of the most impressive nature experiences I have ever had. We did the 3 days 2 night Huong Thuong tour. We had the most impressive experiences from hiking trough challenging mountain jungle, narrow passages in caves to floating in a cave staring at the majestic environment. All of this was thanks to the great team from Jungle Boss, a special thanks to our guide Cuong who was not only a very experienced and knowledgeable guide but also made sure we were as comfortable as possible during the whole tour. Also special thanks to Lan & Tam for supporting the tour in terms of safety and care. And also to all the porters for making wonderfull food and good laughs! 11/10 would recommend everyone to do this.

Review Body: We did the 3 day trip through the tiger cave. The mix of activities, amazing caves and landscapes were outstanding. Tai our tour guide was brilliant and told us lots about the history and natural flora/fauna throughout our time in the jungle and caves. The porters were very friendly and did a fantastic job carrying everything between sites, as it was incredible hot when we did the experience, even for the locals! Swimming through the caves was a big highlight, especially when you emerge into the collapse for the first night's camp. Can't recommend this enough, a great experience to have had.

Review Body: The best trek I've ever done. We did the cave trek for three days and two nights with "Jungle Boss" and the experience was beyond expectations. We were a group of five travelers and the experience was simply outstanding, our guide Messi was incredible and knew the way by heart and even became our best friend there. The porters and the staff carried all the equipment, set up camp for us and prepared the most delicious food we could ask for. The views and the experience are amazing, I recommend it to anyone who comes to visit and wants a special experience.

Review Body: Hung Thoòng trekking was truly an unforgettable adventure. From jungle trekking, stream crossing, cave abseiling to zipline over sinkholes — every moment was both challenging and exciting. The caves were stunning, beautiful lakes, the night sky full of stars was magical, the gentle stream, and the people made the trip even better. So many laughs, stories, three meal a day, and great memories together. A journey that pushed me beyond my limits and reminded me how beautiful nature can be. Highly recommended!

Review Body: Wow just wow! 3 day Hung Thoong trip as 60/66 year olds. It was tough and 38C but we loved it so much. They looked after us very well, food was great, camping is very basic could do with a thicker mattress as it is 2mm max!! Jungle and caves are world class. Zip lining, abseiling, underground via Ferrata, swimming in caves. Lots of rock scrambling over sharp limestone, have long clothes so you don’t get cut. Highly recommend, trip of a lifetime. Small groups too and very safety conscious.

Their food was really good and the wet caves were one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. A couple blisters and leach bites but well worth it.

Review Body: We did the Hung Thoong Explorer and let me tell you, it was the absolute highlight of our 3 weeks trip in Vietnam! We booked it well in advance and we organised our trip around this activity. We had to change the dates a couple of weeks before but the team was great and the communication perfect! We did get a bit worried that they might cancel it as there were only our two bookings, when the tour is usually for bigger groups, but they came through and still did it, which was great as we had an unplanned private tour! With all the logistics that it requires, that was quite amazing! This tour IS challenging, so do take this into account. We were also in a heat wave which added to it. Nevertheless, it was 100% worth the effort and the price! You get access to barely touched areas of the jungle, visit caves that are pristine and only recently discovered, with knowledgeable guides and safety officers taking care that you do not get hurt, while still really feeling like an adventurer! The first day consisted in a trek through the jungle across very sharp rocky formations (gloves to protect your hands were included) to a 1st dry cave (as far as caves go). This felt really like caving, discovering this area with nothing but your headlamp is an amazing feeling, and the formations in the cave were amazing! We then headed to base camp, where a small turquoise lake greets you to clean yourself up. Then headed to another cave close by for cave swimming. At base camp, we had - and I am not exaggerating- truly the BEST FOOD we had in Vietnam! In the middle of the jungle! The next day, we went abseiling into a cave, and it was an amazing experience, and all the time we felt very safe. After some more cave exploration and swimming in underground lakes, we came back out to a beautiful river for some relaxation time and swimming. Then back to base camp. The last day was trekking toward the exit of the jungle with a break at the beautiful ma da lake for some jumping in pristine pools. All in all, 110% recommend this tour! Our guides Messi and Trang (tracy) were super fun to be with and showed us some wildlife, explaining to us their culture and ambitions. They also all teamed up to get us great photos, which we will look at for years to come! The two safety officers took great care of us, our 2 porters were friendly and joyful, and our cook a miracle worker! Lots of love to the team, and thank you for everything!

Review Body: It was an amazing experience. I needed to unplug from work and city life and wanted to go explore the jungle, and this was the perfect choice. I did the Tiger Cave Series tour and got to see amazing caves, jungle experiences, and animals. Most importantly, I completely disconnected from city life, and connected more with myself during this journey. The tour guide Trung (Messi) was 10/10, he spoke perfect English, was very kind, and genuinely engaging in conversation while also sharing great knowledge of the jungle and cave areas. He also offered to show me around the village town after the jungle experience. The porters did hard work to carry all of our stuff, and the cook made the best Vietnamese food I’ve had since being in Vietnam … better than at any restaurant. I would not have expected that quality food on a camping trip. Also they set up the campsite to make life very easy for us to relax, have good food, and get good sleep. Also, the equipment was all in great condition and felt safe. It was a wild jungle exploration with enough safety with the equipment and knowledge they provided. It was truly a great experience, and exactly what I needed. I plan to do other different tours with them again soon.

Review Body: The Elephant Cave and Ma Da Valley trek was hands down one of the best experiences I had in Vietnam! From start to finish, everything was exceptionally well-organized and exceeded my expectations. Our guide Nhung was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the caves making the entire journey informative and fun. The trek itself was the perfect balance of adventure and natural beauty. Hiking through the lush jungle, Jumping in crystal-clear water, and exploring the awe-inspiring Elephant Cave made for a truly unforgettable day. The views in Ma Da Valley cave is absolutely breathtaking — it felt like we had stepped into another world. Lunch by the river was delicious and thoughtfully prepared for our vegan preference, and the team made sure everyone felt safe and supported throughout the trek. The operator clearly cares about responsible tourism and preserving the environment, which made the experience even more meaningful. If you’re visiting Phong Nha and looking for a genuine adventure that gets you off the beaten path, this trek is a must.

Here are some of the great advantages of this trip: Logistics and Services: Provide transportation and delivery from Donghai Hotel, with good and comfortable vehicle performance. The staff and assistant are extremely friendly. Equipment quality: Borrowed shoes, backpacks, etc. are very sanitary and clean, and there is also a fragrance of laundry. Safety guidance: There is a professional briefing before the trip to teach you how to identify poisonous plants, which is very important for jungle hiking. Professional team leader: Be very patient with beginners. When road conditions are difficult, they will actively assist and support them, and when swimming slowly, they will also provide thoughtful help. Visual enjoyment: The interior of the elephant cave is majestic, grand in scale, and very exploratory. Review Body: The tiger cave tour with Jungle Boss was the highlight of my trip in Vietnam and the team did a great work sharing with us this amazing place. Every section of the trip is very unique and different, dense jungle, huge cave entrances, areas with bats, swallows and monkeys, the incredible Kong Collapse camp site, abseiling with ropes, climbing through to rocks, swimming in the dark tunnels, etc. Our guide Binh was very friendly and shared with us lots of interesting info about the place, the life of the locals and his own experiences in great English. The rest of the team was great too, the porters carried an impressive amount of cargo and the chef cooked a lot of tasty local food. The campsites to spend the nights were very well prepared and equipped. Management was also very helpful, arranging my arrival in very early hours and letting me sleep in their dorms for free for a couple hours before the tour. All in all, a must-do activity in Phong Nha

Review Body: I did the 3 day 3 night tour Phong Nha Cave Adventure including the zipline over the 'nightmare sinkhole' and all I can say is the whole trip certainly delivered on its promise! Admittedly the jungle trek was more challenging than anticipated, but certainly worth it. The main challenge personally was the rocky terrain, and avoiding leeches, but as with all challenges, you're rewarded with stunning views, awesome swims through caves, and some of my favourite meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner that were cooked up by the cook on site. Honestly, it was some of the best food I've had in Vietnam, and there was always extra to go round. Special thanks to our guide Trung, who was phenomenal in guiding us through the jungle, caves, and keeping us entertained during the evenings/dinner!

Review Body: I joined the Hung Thoong three day trek. Everything was organised so well (the backpacks, water bottles, towels,…). The campsite was also well equiped and we enjoyed delicious local food! Tour guide Messi made everyone feel welcome and cared for and that was probably the best part about the whole tour. The staff were also very knowledgeable and all the abseiling/ziplining was supersafe by all the safety guardrails. Overall amazing experience where you have the chance to explore amazing places, nature, thrill, friendship and the positive spirit of Vietnamese people. Review Body: Everything was meticulously explained via message first and in loco right before starting the trekking. Transportation from (and to) Dong Hoi was arranged perfectly. The staff who accompanied us during the exploration (porters, safety assistants, and our guide Messi) was simply amazing. They made sure we had the best experience we could possibly have, caring about our safety and comfort, and creating a funny ambience both at campsite and during the trek. Food was freshly prepared for every meal and was delicious. I'll certainly join another adventure in the future!

Itinerary Day 1

Itinerary Summary: Hike jungle trails, swim Tiger Cave, camp overnight at Kong sinkhole in Phong Nha

Itinerary Description: 08:00–08:30: Pick up from your hotel in Phong Nha area. 09:00: Safety briefing at our office. 09:30: Set off by van for about 45 minutes along the Highway 20 road to the starting point. 10:15: Start hiking through the jungle on a difficult terrain trail with a mixture of soil pathway and rock passage. 12:30: Lunch will be served during the trek when you get to the top of the Gio Slope. 13:00: Start hiking again for about two more hours up and down hill through the tropical jungle of Phong Nha – Ke Bang to reach the lower entrance of Tiger cave. 15:00: Arrive at the lower entrance of Tiger cave where you will be geared up to swim through the downstream passage of Tiger cave to reach your campsite inside Kong sinkhole. In case of high water level which is not safe to swim, the guide will decide to take the upper passage to trek to Kong sinkhole. 15:30: Swim 300m through the lower passage of Tiger cave. 16:00: Arrive at Kong sinkhole by the end of the passage. 16:00–17:00: Prepare campsite. 17:30: Dinner at Kong sinkhole and enjoy the rest of the night in one of the deepest sinkholes on earth. 21:30: Bedtime.

Itinerary Day 2

Itinerary Summary: Tiger cave trek, jungle hikes & explore world’s 4th largest cave, Hang Pygmy.

Itinerary Description: 07:30: Breakfast at Kong sinkhole. 08:00: Rappel at the Toad Tounge rock in Kong sinkhole. 09:00: Set off for Tiger cave, Hang Over and Hang Pygmy. 09:00–11:00: Explore the upper passage of Tiger cave. This will require a lot of climbs over boulders and pass some rivers inside the cave. 11:30: Arrive at the Swift exit of Tiger cave and trek through the jungle inside the doline between Tiger cave and Hang Over. 12:00: Picnic lunch at the entrance of Hang Over. 12:30: Start exploring 3.2km of Hang Over. This will be a long walk in the darkness while wandering inside huge cave. 13:30: Arrive at Massive Attack inside Hang Over. This is a huge chamber which is 125m wide, 80m high. There are a lot of strange formations. Awesome place for good photos. 13:30–15:00: Explore the Massive Attack and walk to the exit of Hang Over to hit the second doline between Hang Over and Hang Pygmy. There is a huge jungle inside the cave where you have to walk for about 20 minutes under a jungle in a cave. 15:20: Arrive at the exit of Hang Pygmy and start exploring the fourth largest cave in the world with a transverse line of 80m along the edge of formations. 15:45: Arrive on top of Dinosaur Spine passage in Hang Pygmy. Walk through the passage and then abseil for about 10m to drop down on the floor of Hang Pygmy. Daylight from the big entrance can be seen from here. 16:00: Arrive at the main entrance of Hang Pygmy which is 100m high and wide. Set up the basecamp at this huge entrance. 17:00–18:00: Photoshoot around the basecamp and the entrance of Hang Pygmy. 18:00: Dinnertime. 21:30: Bedtime.

Itinerary Summary: Jungle trek exit, Co Slope climb, waterfalls, return

Itinerary Description: 08:00: Breakfast and clean up the camp, you will exit the cave system and begin the half-day trek home. 09:00: Start trekking out of Hang Pygmy entrance through different valleys and mountains. This will be a long trek out of the jungle with difficult terrain. 10:30: Arrive at Co Slope, a grass slope which is quite slippery and steep. If it is rainy, you may have a chance to see some waterfalls on the way back. 12:00: Some snacks will be provided during the trek. 14:00: Arrive at the road to enjoy cold drinks before the van arrives and transfers you back to our office. 15:00: Arrive at our office, clean up. Finish the journey
