Review Body: Highly recommended for families and adults, ending with a unique demonstration of how we can wrap our daily bread/ fruit items. The extra refreshment wax block was a nice touch, allowing us to truly practise sustainability and extend the lifespan of our reusable food wraps.

Review Body: The participants went wild for the beautiful fabric swab designs. They also love the educational aspect of learning about bees, melting honeycomb wax, and crafting 100% natural, chemical-free food wraps to take home.

Review Body: Our best workshop to date! The team loved every minute of it (sore arms included). He even managed to impress our Italian bosses with his pesto recipe. We will 100% be booking him again for his other workshops.

Itinerary

Itinerary Day 1
Itinerary Summary: Make reusable food wraps from fabric and learn to wax care for and mend them
Itinerary Description: Participants will learn what goes into the custom wax blend used to make our (seriously good) reusable food wraps ( 100% beeswax, Pine Resin, organic Jojoba oil). They will then choose and cut their desired fabric wraps from a selection of 14 designs using zig-zag shears. Participants will then use a horsehair paintbrush to apply the melted wax blend onto the chosen fabrics, and iron out any excess wax to ensure an even coat to prevent cracking after drying. Participants will also get to learn how to clean, maintain, store and refresh their reusable food wraps. Followed by a live demonstration with actual food items (canned foods, assorted fruits, sandwiches, etc). They will also learn what they can wrap or not wrap with these food wraps. Lastly, participants will all be given a refreshment wax bar (made with our same wax blend recipe) and taught how to mend any worn-out or old food wraps in the future, truly advocating for the sustainability of a quality, long-lasting product, over single-use plastic cling wrap.

Ditch cling wrap and make reusable beeswax wraps with your team
If you're looking for a team activity that's both fun and genuinely useful, this beeswax wrap workshop is a refreshing alternative to the usual craft session. Hosted by Joel, who turned his passion for sustainable living into a mission to help city dwellers adopt greener habits, the workshop shows that reducing waste doesn't have to be complicated. Instead of making something decorative, everyone creates two reusable beeswax food wraps they can use again and again at home. It's perfect for wrapping sandwiches, covering leftover bowls, keeping herbs fresh, or storing half-cut fruits without reaching for cling wrap.Using a blend of natural beeswax, pine resin, and organic jojoba oil, your team will learn how these simple wraps work, why they're such an effective alternative to single-use plastics, and how easy they are to incorporate into everyday life. With over 14 fabric designs to choose from - from botanical prints to quirky science-themed patterns, everyone gets to create something that's both practical and personal. A live demonstration using real food also helps bring the wraps to life, making it easy to imagine using them immediately after the workshop.Your team will learn how to wash, care for, and even refresh their wraps using the complimentary beeswax bar provided, encouraging a simple sustainability habit that can replace hundreds of metres of disposable cling wrap over time. It's a small change that feels achievable, and one your team is far more likely to stick with because they made the wraps themselves. What to ExpectPrivate 1-hour workshop for corporate teamsMake 2 reusable food wraps each: 1 large and 1 small, or 2 medium-sized wrapsChoose from 14+ curated 100% cotton and linen-cotton blend fabric designsLearn about the wax blend ingredients: beeswax, pine resin, and organic jojoba oilGuided wrap-making using irons, parchment paper, and cutting toolsLive demo on how to use the wraps with bread, fruit, sandwiches, and containersLearn how to clean, store, maintain, and refresh your wrapsGood to KnowThis is a hands-on indoor workshop that is conducted at your own venue/officeIncludes safety gloves, apron, all materials and equipment, a kraft envelope, and a refresher wax bar so you can repair and extend the life of your wraps at homeYou’ll also learn what these wraps should and should not be used for
