Rui is the creative mind behind Tinysnips, a space where craftsmanship and design come together. With a background in Communication Design from The Glasgow School of Art and over a decade as a graphic designer, Rui brings experience and a thoughtful approach to miniature-making. Since 2020, they have been running workshops designed to be enjoyable, calming, and accessible to all—especially beginners. Rui’s guidance makes crafting feel easy and rewarding, ensuring everyone feels supported. Committed to sustainability, they create pieces in small batches to minimise waste and often incorporate recycled materials like cardboard into workshops. Through Tinysnips, Rui encourages people to slow down, enjoy the creative process, and discover the joy of making something by hand.
