  • Don't Miss It: The last session for this experience will be on 15th February, as your host will be moving to a different venue which doesn't have spaces for Sake tasting. This is a unique opportunity to experience one of the best experiences in Singapore, and to learn from a passionate sommelier about the unique world of Sake. In the heart of Singapore's Telok Ayer Street lies Kabuke, a Sake gastrobar housed in a heritage shophouse on the second floor. This unique establishment combines the elegance of kabuki art with the wonders of Japanese sake and a delectable selection of contemporary Japanese cuisine.Led by a certified Sake sommelier, Kabuke offers a Sake Appreciation Session that invites guests to explore the varied landscape of Japanese Sake flavours. During this 45-minute experience, participants will enjoy a guided tasting session with four glasses of different Sake grades, learn the basics of Sake, how to drink it, and how to choose a Sake they like. The session takes place in Singapore's first Sake-dedicated tasting room - Kabuke Den, a welcoming environment for discovery and knowledge sharing, and guests also have the opportunity to savour the à la carte food menu and uncover the art of eating and drinking with Sake.Hosted by Keiji Heng, the co-founder and chief Sake sommelier at Kabuke, this experience is perfect for those who seek to unravel the mysteries of Sake and indulge in the rich flavours, aromas, and textures it has to offer. Keiji's passion for Sake is contagious, and he takes immense pleasure in guiding people on journeys of discovery through the world of Sake. What to ExpectGuided Sake appreciation with a certified Sake sommelierDurations: 45 minutes to 60 minutesWhat You'll Learn:The basics of Sake: key ingredients and how it's made; understanding the classificationsHow to drink SakeHow to choose a Sake without knowing JapaneseWhat You'll Get:Guided tasting session by the Chief Sake Sommelier4 glasses of different grades of SakeSmall trio snack platter with 3 Japanese small bitesExplore the varied landscape of Japanese Sake flavorsOpportunity to order from the à la carte food menuNote: Minimum 2 pax to run, rain or shine event, tickets transferable but non-refundableNote: Should there be a full book out of the venue, we reserve the right to reschedule to an agreeable date between both parties
