Play Dungeons & Dragons with your team! Make ridiculous decisions & have fun
If your team loves games, they would love this experience. It's a legendary quest inspired by a Malay folktale, and your team are the heroes of the story. In this Dungeons & Dragons experience, your team steps into a live storytelling adventure where every decision changes what happens next. Guided by a professional storyteller, you’ll work together to solve problems, face unexpected challenges, and try to survive a legendary quest inspired by the story of Hang Nadim and the swordfish attack.Think of it like a cross between improv theatre, a strategy game, and a Netflix fantasy story — except your team controls the plot. You might debate impossible choices, attempt ridiculous plans, or discover the quietest teammate is actually the best strategist. The dice decide your fate, but teamwork decides whether you survive. No acting or gaming experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to jump into the story. What to ExpectA 3-hour guided storytelling adventureInspired by the legend of Hang NadimCollaborative decision-making challengesA theatre-trained Lore Master guiding the storyBeginner-friendly with pre-made charactersDice and game materials providedGood to KnowA minimum group size of 8pax is needed to start a game at your venue of choiceYou may opt to play at the host's studio for groups of 4-5paxThis experience is fully mobile and can come to youUp to 8 participants per Lore Master - larger teams will have multiple facilitatorsSession includes light guidance - it’s story-driven and inclusive, not rules-heavyCustomised storylines or extended sessions are available at extra cost if you’re planning something bigger

Meet your host
This experience is led by a close-knit team who came together in 2023, each bringing something unique — from writing and teaching to art and design. What started as a few homebrew games between friends has grown into a space for thoughtful, story-driven tabletop adventures. They create inclusive, emotionally rich games where everyone — whether queer, neurodivergent, new to TTRPGs, or a seasoned player — can feel right at home. Their sessions often explore big themes like identity and grief, but there’s plenty of laughter and joy around the table too. At the heart of it all is their love for storytelling and the community it builds. Every game is a chance to connect, imagine, and create meaningful moments — together.

We get asked that a lot! There’s no one on the team actually named Sophie. Sophie means wisdom in Greek. We wanted Seek Sophie to be about travel that helps you discover more about yourself and the world—travel that fills your heart and leaves you feeling more connected.
