This is a 2-hour introductory Kombucha workshop with one of the top brewers in Singapore. This will teach you the basics of making simple kombucha (i.e. not flavoured or fizzy), as well as introduce you to the fermentation process. Option DetailsWith over 20 years of fermentation experience, Craft & Culture will teach you how to brew tasty and delicious kombuchas the right way right in your own home.During this 2 hour introductory workshop, you'll learn: ✔️ Why bacteria are so important ✔️ How are bacteria helpful for good health✔️ The importance of fermentation and probiotics✔️ Sterile techniques to prevent the formation of harmful microbes that could jeopardize your brew. ✔️ What can we find in kombucha that makes it so special✔️ Basics of how to make kombucha✔️ What Not to do (Very important!)✔️ Tasting of various flavoured kombuchaEach workshop participant will get the Kombucha Kit containing: a secret gift (curious?), starter kit containing your very own scoby culture, recipe and instruction guide to kick off your kombucha experiments, all raw materials and containers as necessary, and last but not least, member's-only access on Craft & Culture's Facebook, where you'll find useful tips and resources. Important NoteProducts shown in image may vary from actual products in the class depending on the availability of raw materials. Light cleaning and washing will be done by the participant.Participants have to bring their own bags to bring their ferments home. Bags will not be provided.Each class requires a min number of persons to run. In the event that the participation rate is not met within 48 hours of the class date, Craft & Culture reserves the right to provide rescheduling options or cancel the class.Should there be any unforeseen circumstances resulting in rescheduling/cancellation of the workshop by Craft & Culture, participants will be informed via text messages/email. Participants may choose to get a refund in full/use store credit.

With an accomplished background in healthcare and medical sciences, the owner of Craft & Culture - Winnie is a published author, speaker, and consultant to clients from SME's to Fortune 500 companies in healthcare and private equity. She started Craft & Culture as a craft brewery in 2016 focusing on Kombucha (fermented tea) and Kefir (fermented milk) and has since grown the brand to become one of Singapore’s key market leaders. She also expanded the company’s range of services to include fermentation workshops, health seminars and corporate events.
