Bali Green Surf School

The passionate Balinese surf guides have three big aims to (1) arouse passion for surfing (2) help the orphaned children in Bali and (3) keep Bali green and natural. Bali Green Surf School is located in Seminyak, just a short walk from the famous 66 beaches. They offer group or private lessons for all surfers. Besides surfing, they also give back to the community by donating part of their profits to homeless and orphaned children. Every Sunday, they organize a variety of activities for the children, such as surf lessons, study help, and beach clean-ups. They also strive to surf without destroying mother nature, after all, no nature, no surf.

The guys responded very quickly, we booked the night before by email, response was good and clear to understand. The instructor was very good, all 3 of us was able to stand with in the first couple of tries. Defo would recommend and I love they use some of their profits to support a local orphanage... very cool

Great team, best time! We never surfed before as a family but wanted to try. So thankful we picked this surf school. They are super patient, encouraging, caring and fun. We choose 1:1 private family lessons with our children ( 8 & 11). Just brilliant we all were standing up. We first came to Bali Green Surf in July 2019 & loved it so much we’ve been back again in Sept & Oct with the team. Big shout out to Widi & all the staff for amazing memories! We will definitely be back. Satu lagi!!!

Despite the fact an elephant may have been more graceful on a surfboard than i was, this was an extremely fun experience. The instructors were really helpful (and patient) and provided us with great tips and advice. Overall a fantastic experience. One point I would make is that our hotel was a 10 minute walk from the surf site yet we got picked up by a car, driven 20 minutes to the Surf School and then had to walk another ten minutes to the site - it would have been more efficient if we had been allowed to just walk down directly to the beach.

Great all round experience from booking online to the lesson. Fantastic introduction to surfing in semi private lesson. Sunny was an enthusiastic and friendly guide in the surf and on the sand, a natural teacher.
