Hoang made a big life change in 2014, swapping his career in civil engineering for something much closer to home—literally. After years of working on construction sites across Vietnam, often far from his family, he chose to start fresh in Hoi An's growing tourism scene. What makes Hoang stand out is his genuine love for connecting with people and sharing his hometown’s stories. He enjoys showing visitors what makes Vietnam special through local experiences and simple, meaningful moments. Since making the switch, he’s found real joy in welcoming travellers and helping them feel at home in Hoi An.
