Today, you'll get to Tambora via a scenic car journey!

Accommodation: Rik's Guesthouse - Double room (Private)

  • Morning: Transfer to Tambora
  • The transfer will take approximately 5-6 hours.
  • Night: Spend the night at Rik's guesthouse
Day 2: Tambora
Tambora

Today you'll make your way up to the rim of Mount Tambora

Accommodation: Tambora Camping - Tent (Shared)

  • Morning: 45 mins road journey to the base of Mt Tambora (30 mins by car, and 15 mins by motorbike)
  • Hike up to Mount Tambora
  • Evening: Overnight at the crater
Day 3: Tambora

Today you'll get to enjoy a sunrise at the rim of Mount Tambora!

Accommodation: Rik's Guesthouse - Double room (Private)

  • Morning (1am): Wake up to catch the stunning sunrise at Tambora crater rim
  • Afternoon: Head back to Rik's guesthouse
Day 4: Tambora - Bima
Tambora - Bima

Today you'll be heading back home.

  • Morning: Head to Bima airport

Usual Cancellation Policy (for Non-Covid reasons)
Cancel for free 7 days before your trip starts. Cancellations after such date will not be eligible for refunds as Visit Tambora would have paid for your trip’s logistics already.
