Everything perfect from Reservation to Travel! I particularly want to leave this review because, before leaving, I was terrified of doing the Bali - Gili T route with the wrong company because of the bad reviews I had read around. After a thousand considerations, about 3 months before my trip, I opted to book this company because it seemed to me that it was talked about on average well or at least better than others. I contacted them by email and they replied very quickly giving me all the information I had requested and telling me that I could book by making a transfer to a guy whose IBAN was connected to a bank in Belgium! I was a bit puzzled, but then I decided to trust and in fact everything went well! After a few days I received the electronic ticket by email and so I waited for the day of departure and I must say that I could not have hoped for better: perfect organization both before boarding and during boarding and on board everything went smoothly. Suitcases stored in a dry place, life jackets in adequate number to the number of seats on board, comfortable and punctual journey. In short: very high standards for being in Indonesia! The only thing I noticed is that I probably had the time and way to buy the ticket directly on site I would have spent much less, but to secure the seat on board with this company, I would pay the same amount a thousand times!

Highly recommend Gilly Getaways!! Very organised and helpful company. All the staff speak really good English and are very competent. The boat itself was very clean and so nice to sit on the top and have a sun bathe en route! The best part of using Gilly Getaways was our driver Wayan. He collected us from our hotel in Seminyak and drove us to the port. We had such a nice chat with him as he speaks amazing English and arranged for him to pick us up on our return from the Gilly islands a few days later. When we arrived back in Seminyak he was waiting at the port and we were so excited to see him again. He then drove us over an hour to Uluwatu to our air bnb. Just so helpful and such nice company! We learnt all sorts about Bali. Our journey with Wayan didn’t stop here. After explaining we needed to book transport from Uluwatu to the airport, Wayan saved the day and offered to drive us. However, as he is the best driver in Bali he also suggested collecting us earlier and taking us via Ubud to spend the day before going to the airport. We had the most magical and memorable last day in Bali, including lunch at Boni Bali amongst the rice paddies, with authentic Balinese food. We never would’ve found this without Wayan. We then ended the day with a spa trip before the airport, which was another amazing idea. Best driver and best tour guide in Bali. Made what would’ve been a dull last day into the best day of our trip. We will miss you Wayan!!
