We had a wonderful time at the cooking class! Learnt some super interesting information about the area and the plants and the fish was soo tasty. Excited to cook it again when we're back home. So much fun and such nice people. Definitely recommend!

The cooking school is set in the heart of the jungle, and beautifully presented. Around a 40 minute drive from Ubud centre in a comfortable air conditioned mnibus bought us to the bamboo and wood structures which comprise the school. Buda our cooking teacher was very knowledgeable and patient with us. He explained everything well and we never felt like we were rushed or there was a timetable. We had time to eat each course as we prepared it. Water, coffee and herbal tea was provided as well as mosquito spray, although we weren't bothered by flies or mosquitoes. the gardens were well tended and the open buildings exceptionally clean and hygenic, even the toilets. There were plenty of staff there and they carried out their various duties efficiently and everyone was friendly. Plates and saucepans were magically whisked away to be cleaned and new pans appeared full of fresh ingredients. WE even got a short video of our day and recipe pamphlets so we can try the delicious recipes at home. Highly recommended.

We had a really wonderful time doing this cooking class. I thought all the 5-star reviews were too good to be true but it was a great experience. The guides were really lovely and informative, food was delicious and fresh, and the free shuttle was a huge bonus. Would recommend.
