If you're an off-the-beaten paths kind of traveler, this would likely be perfect for you. While the weather wasn't on our side because it's rainy season in Bali, the boat ride and hike were still enjoyable as there wasn't a crowd, and we had the chance to see the view from the top – lucky us, it did not rain. Guides were helpful, educational, and everything from pickup to dropoff was smooth. Would try this again another time of the year!

Pick up by Yoni is on time. Denni our guide is very experienced and makes us feel safe despite our beginner hiking level. The time is well planned. Kudos to Denni excellent photography skills and his initiative to take multiple nice shots at areas which he deem as nice or photo worthy. Despite being tired at the end it is still worth the trip.

The trip was amazing. I stayed quite far away at Nusa Dua but the driver Yosi came to pick me up. Tosi drove me to the meeting point with my guide Wi. I did the trip during wet season, but luckily we had clear sky during the hike. The boat ride at the morning was amazing, you could see all the stars. The route itself was super because yur really were in the nature. It was really nice to be away from the main tourist routes and be just yourself in the nature with your guide. Wi was excellent guide. The hike up was not too difficult, but it’s really steep at some times. The rise took for me about 30-40 minutes. It was a good workout. The views at the summit were amazing and we saw beautiful sunrise. I would defenitively recommend this hike for beginners and if you have more experience from hiking.

This was such a highlight! We are travelling with our kids (7,3, and 1) and we weren’t sure whether we could make this work. We chose it instead of Mt Batur to be a bit calmer and it was so perfect! Our driver Yosi was wonderful and arrived on time, and gave us lots of info and recommendations, and took us to the Geopark museum too on the way home (highly recommend!). Our guide Wi was informative and helpful and great with our kids. The hike itself is not easy, we hike a fair bit but found it medium level challenging carrying the kids up 300m in 45min. But it was so worth it! And our 7 year old did it easily. Breakfast was brought from the local village and was simple and delicious. 100% recommend.
