The tour was great and the guide (Wi) and the driver (Yosi) too but I find it a bit expensive for what it is. I booked as a solo traveler and it's quite expensive although I'm happy that this is ethical economy. The morning was glorious starting with the boat ride and then the little hike and a local breakfast with the best views. We got lucky with the weather and could see perfectly clear the 3 peaks and Lambok island.
The service and communication with the host was fantastic! Quick and clear.
I'd do it again but with 3 or more friends :)

Wowww! That was one of the coolest most natural hikes we’ve ever done!! Such a full fun adventure, and our guides Yosi and Wii were so awesome- so sweet, and such great photographers! 😆😆 Highly recommend the natural hot springs after! When we reached the peak for sunrise, a local woman who lives on the mountain brought sandwiches and tea for us, and our friend even got to drive the boat back across the lake! What a beautiful, incredible experience. We all really loved this day 🙏🏼

Communication ahead of hike day and pick up was on time. I chose the Besakih route, though in hindsight, given my fitness level I should have gone with the Pasar Agung route. The hike started at 11.30pm, I made it to checkpoint 2 (base camp) and arrived at the starting point at 9.20am. The view was good though I imagined better at the peaks. Do be aware of your fitness level and choose the route to go with. My guide was decent and quite good, he was being real about not pushing to the limit, but also very supportive in challenging spots. Smooth experience overall! Would recommend this package!

Great experience all along the way. From organizing pick up to our driver and our hiking guide, everyone was so kind and professional. They took care of everything so all we had to do was show up ready to hike! Our hiking guide was kind and knowledgeable. I think he kept a perfect pace for us. And he even helped my husband out with knee braces when his knees were starting to feel fatigued going down.
This was a challenging hike but worth every step.

Guide Rudy was great and knowledgeable. Was very generous to share his extra equipment that would help in the hike. He also shared history of the volcano and dropped fun facts here and there which was interesting.
Do note that the trek can get quite demanding regardless of weather so a good pair of shoes and layers will help with the cold at the top. The other guides are all friendly and willing to lend a helping hand even if the hikers are not under their care. Overall a great experience for my first Mt Agung hike!

He was on time for pick up. Let us sleep on the way to the climb since it was very early. On the way back we had a nice chat and he gave us some tips on places to eat. All in all he is a great, friendly driver.
