He was on time for pick up. Let us sleep on the way to the climb since it was very early. On the way back we had a nice chat and he gave us some tips on places to eat. All in all he is a great, friendly driver.

The driver and guide for the walk to the viewing area were fantastic. Great company and lot's of fascinating local information. Also very special that this was a personal guide with only two other small groups at the viewing area. Can't recommend strongly enough!

Honestly I think I was extremely lucky to have booked this trip with Rudy Trekker on Seek Sophie, it turned out to be an out of the world experience for me. I think November is a low season so the trip became like a private trip because I was the only trekker they had for a 2D1N crater rim hike package. My guide Dika was very profesional and attentive, I don't feel hurried in my hike, moreover, i'm not a seasoned hiker and absolutely did not train for this, I booked everything on a whim. So i was extremely grateful for Dika's patience and tolerance with my hiking speed. Then there's Adi, my porter. Words can't describe how incredible porters are. In addition to carrying loads that are insane heavy, hiking up the mountain, Adi prepared all these AMAZING MEALS along the hike.....which is mind blowing, it still feels surreal to me. This experience is so incredible that I have decided to join another hike next year! Till we meet again guys !

I highly recommend this trek with seek Sophie! From pick-up to drop off we were very happy with our experience. Our driver was very communicative and on time for pick-up. Our guide, Mister, was great - very friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Although it’s an early morning start, the view at the top is so worth it. We also liked that the hike was pretty private - it was just the two of us and our guide which made the hike much more enjoyable as we could go at our own pace and the trails were also not packed.

This experience was 10/10. We wanted to do a sunrise hike but we felt that Mt Batur was a bit too intense for us, so we opted for this hike instead and it was very good. It took us around an hour to get to the top and our tour guide Denis was very patient and helpful with us (we needed a lot of brakes). The top of the mountain was magical and tranquil. Definitely recommend!

Our guide Ari was very knowledgeable, she made sure we felt safe trekking in the dark and made us a great breakfast at the top of the mountain! The meeting point was well organized and easy to find, I would definitely recommend this experience!

I had such a wonderful experience on the Batur Caldera hike! The view was absolutely breathtaking — we could see four mountains and had a direct view of the sunrise.
Our guides, Kadek and Wi, were amazing — very friendly, helpful, and confident. As locals who know the area extremely well, they made me feel completely safe and at ease throughout the hike.
This isn’t the classic Mount Batur hike, which makes it even more special. The spot we visited is privately owned by the team, so we were completely alone at the top — no crowds at all! They even set up small tables for us to sit comfortably and enjoy breakfast while watching the sunrise. It was such a peaceful and magical moment.
A special shoutout to Wi, who’s also a fantastic photographer — he captured some truly beautiful photos!
Overall, it was an amazing and unique experience. I loved learning about local life and stories from our guides. The mountains and Lake Batur are simply magical. Highly recommended! 🌄✨

I had an absolutely amazing experience on this trip with two of my friends. The one-hour trek to the top was just the right amount of challenge — refreshing, a bit exhausting, but very rewarding. When we reached the summit, we were greeted by the most gorgeous sunrise over the mountains. It was truly unforgettable and worth every step. Highly recommend!
