I had an amazing time wandering around local villages and rice and corn fields. My guide was very knowledgeable, easy to chat with and always took care of me through some muddy and slippery terrain.

I really enjoyed my trek with Khai, even though it was just the 2 of us it felt like hiking with a good friend. Day 1: The route is not easy, especially when it rained previously, causing some paths to be muddy. Some parts of the trek are also quite tiring both up and downhill. I would advise trekkers to wear shoes with proper grips, and to train for at least 2 weeks or a month to make it enjoyable without feeling too tired. However the view throughout is very much worth it, and there are pitstops along the way to rest. The homestay dinner was great, and we had a fun karaoke session. There is a mosquito net for sleeping but you may have to smack some during dinner/at night. Day 2: Breakfast was okay, but i was hoping to try the local breakfast, instead we had crepes, which I think was due to the other guests who were a french family of 6. It was still enjoyable and healthy. Unfortunately I had to cancel my 2nd day after the homestay due to bring tired, but Khai and the host arranged a bike back to town for me without any issues. Overall would recommend Khai and team, just ensure your fitness level is adequate so you don't miss out on enjoying the trip.

My tourguide Chu took good care of me. She picked me up in Sapa town, we had breakfast and we hiked to Zizi Homestay. The hike was fun and full of adventures, she explained a lot about life in Sapa and Vietnam, it was fun and very interesting. Zizi Homestay is a very nice and clean Homestay, people were very friendly and I even got an upgrade to a single room. The "family dinner" that is included in the price was soo delicious and lots of vegetarian options to choose from. Also breakfast and coffee were very good, unfortunately I didn't have time to stay there longer. On the second day we hiked to two waterfalls, had lunch and saw many many buffalos along the way. Thank you very much for this awesome and also lifechanging hike. I totally recommend it :) <3
