It was an awesome experience, we definitely enjoyed every moment of it, learning new things and thanks to Clarence’s passion, we were able to extract every moment of learning on beer making from scratch! It made all of the difference with The Unexpected! 💯

The brewery tour was informative and interesting, but if you've been on another tour before, this one might not be as exciting because of its size. As a first-timer, it was great, though! The food provided at the end of the tour, with our flight, was unexpected in terms of the amount and variety and was very tasty, complementing the beers well. Choose your beers carefully, and definitely ask the staff for advice, as there are some really interesting options among the very good ones.

Selwyn was a great brewery guide, shared a lot of information about Lion Brewery and the brewing process. He went out of his way to give us a great experience! We were each able to choose our flight of 4 beers. And the snacks were delicious, very filling! Highly recommend!

I've always wanted to visit The Sundowner and this beer-making workshop was the perfect excuse to drop by. I dragged my boyfriend along and we got to learn some history and science behind brewing. We thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on experience--boiling, hopping, beer tapping, etc. We also got to channel our beer connoisseur persona during the guided beer tasting. At the end of the workshop, each of us got to bring home a bottle of the beer we made. Fingers crossed that it ferments well! Can't wait to try it in a few weeks 🍻

ps. The Sundowner was everything I imagined it to be and more. It's honestly like visiting a cool uncle's house -- chess-lined walls, sand-filled room, mini rooftop farm, ant collection, bees, a cat, etc. I will be back again for their other workshops!

We did this as a team and LOVED the location. It was so cool - a speakeasy farm. Really makes you feel like you're out of Singapore and on a really cool overseas team event! :) The beer brewing was also fun. I always wanted to learn how to do it! It's surprisingly simple. I also like the tasting element of the session.
