I booked this class for my sister and I as a birthday treat. Joette was a great host and teacher. She patiently guided us through the class, teaching us the art of macrame while engaging us in a some very interesting conversation! We joked about how nothing escapes her 'eagle eyes' as she could immediately spot our mistakes enabling us to quickly correct them before we were too far gone. She is clearly very skilled and has a great passion for what she does. The experience was cozy and casual and we felt very much at home in her studio. We each went home with a beautiful plant hanger! I highly recommend this experience!

I came in without any expectations as I am new to the craft. It was really an eye-opener at the many possibilities/artpiece one can create with macrame. It was really therapeutic and fun! I am so amazed that I was able to complete the wall hanging!!! Really brings me back to those times when I was in secondary school and friendship bands was the craze. Joette has been very patient and encouraging throughout the whole process! She is also very knowledgeable and an expert in her craft. She is creative and talented. Highly recommended!!

Joette is a wonderful teacher. She gives clear instructions and is able to anticipate mistakes that we might make. She is also personable and engaging. The craft work she designed for us to work on is lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed the session.
