We loved our trip through East Java and were so glad, we had our driver Beni. He was reliable, patient and drove us safely through the sometimes crazy indonesian traffic. But Beni was more than just a driver. Because of his English skills, he was very helpful with organizing tours and recommending good restaurants and nice things to see. Also morning hikes for sunrise at 2 am were no problem for Beni! Moreover, Beni is just a great person and was always in a good mood and happy to help. We know who we will hire for our next trip!

I had made an enquiry with Seek Sophie for a private transport for a day to attend a wedding in the village of Kediri.

The responses was really fast and after making payment. I was directed to Boyo Tour and Travel.

Adhi responded to my queries pretty much instantly. His English is great and arrangements were done quickly.

Adhi was assuring that I would be on time, vectoring in traffic within Surabaya,etc. It helped that he was familiar with Kediri area.

Chats with Adhi about food, Javanese traditional weddings, religion in different parts of Indonesia, Mt Bromo, cheap tyres that caused trucks to flip over. It was enjoyable and educational for me.

Also, I find Adhi to be very responsible. 
 Due to the heat and glare from the sun and straight road driving. He made a detour to wash his face to freshen up and took a short coffee break, as the condition was tiring him out on the way back.

I felt safe throughout the journey as I knew that I was in good hands of a responsible person. 

The car was clean and comfortable and there were small bottles of water placed by the door. 

I have plans for Mt Bromo next. I know who to call :) :)
