Why go
Mabul is the sister island to Sipadan with much tamer waters, so if you want to get some of the beautiful underwater views and great visibility with out the currents and depth, Mabul is a good choice for you.
What to do or see here
Since the waters around Mabul are a lot calmer and more accessible, you can discover the underwater world here by both snorkelling and diving. In fact, even if you go to Sipadan, most likely you will want to have a few dives around Mabul since you can only go to Sipadan for one day.
Best Time to Go
For best visibility you will want to head during dry season which is April to October, but even if you got in March or November you won't be disappointed.
Who is it for?
For water lovers that enjoy exploring diverse underwater terrains. Excellent for divers, but also great for snorkellers.
