That’s why wine lovers let it sit—because only when it meets the air does it begin to open up, releasing hidden flavours and becoming softer, smoother, and deeper.

It made me think about connection, too—between people, between ourselves and nature, and within our own hearts. Those bonds also need space to open, time to breathe, and patience to mature. Sometimes what we need isn’t a new opportunity, but a quiet moment—so what we already have can sink in, deepen, and become truly ours.
