We had an absolutely wonderful experience! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized. Our driver picked us up right on time and the ride was very pleasant. Upon arrival at the plantation, we received a warm and heartfelt welcome from the owner and her team, which immediately made us feel at home. After enjoying a welcome drink, we had the unique opportunity to plant our very own coffee tree, which will begin to bear fruit in about three years. We then picked ripe red coffee cherries and learned so much about the coffee plant and its fruits. Later, we roasted the dried beans over the fire and ground them ourselves – such a fun and authentic process! After that we were brewing and enjoying our very own coffee, accompanied by some delicious local snacks. Throughout the visit, the entire team was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable, taking the time to answer all our questions and share their passion for coffee. We truly enjoyed every single minute of this unforgettable experience and left with a deep appreciation for the effort and love that goes into coffee production. This was a one-of-a-kind experience, and we can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Yogyakarta!
