From tubing in underground rivers to going off-road at Indonesia's most active volcano, here are our faves in Yogya!

We had a wonderful time at the cooking class! Learnt some super interesting information about the area and the plants and the fish was soo tasty. Excited to cook it again when we're back home. So much fun and such nice people. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful and insightful experience into the batik making process. The hosts are skilled artists themselves, and are patient and passionate throughout the session.

Craft Batik Art in a Hidden Javanese Village

Beautiful and insightful experience into the batik making process. The hosts are skilled artists themselves, and are patient and passionate throughout the session.

I learned not only the basics of batik, but the team was so encouraging and helped me come up with a fun design to work on, and I'm so proud of the result!

A very nice cooking workshop! Hanung was the perfect host. We caught 4 fresh fish and he showed us around in the village and told about the different plant, trees, herbs and vegetables that could be found in the (very cute) village. After that a very nice lady showed us how to prepare the fish and the noodles. After we ate, we had a nice coffee and bought some nice ceramics with batik prints. The whole place has that community feeling where everybody helps eachother.
