Travellers-First Covid Policy

As travellers ourselves, we understand how stressful this pandemic has been when it comes to making plans. That is why we want to be fair to all in the event of sudden changes — to the local businesses, to the community, and to YOU.
Strict Covid-19 Cancellation Scenario
If there are Covid-19 government regulations that prevent you from going on your booked experience (e.g. you are barred from travelling into the country/state, or in the event of a lockdown), you can choose to

Other Covid-19 Regulations
In the event of other Covid-19 government regulations that affect your trip without it having to be cancelled (e.g. reduction in social gathering sizes), you may reschedule your trip at no additional cost. Refunds or partial refunds via Seek Sophie credits (can be used on multiple bookings with no expiry) will be subject to the agreement of our local partner.
Other Extenuating Circumstances
If you do not fall within the above circumstances and need to cancel or reschedule due to other extenuating Covid-19 related circumstances, please do let your host know at the first instance, and they will do their best to help. We are also available to help, and will do our best to resolve the situation for you.
In the above cases, you will be asked to provide the relevant documents that support your claim.

Exceptions

While we have worked with all our partners to ask them to accommodate our flexible Covid policies, please note that a handful of partners have not agreed to do so. If you have booked any experiences with these partners, no cancellation or rescheduling will be permitted regardless of Covid regulations.
These exceptions will be clearly marked out with on the option details page (as shown below), as well as in the booking emails sent to you. Please only book these options if you understand the risk.
