Review Body: I had the best time with Achi on our Sinharaja Forest Reserve birdwatching day. We set off on his motorbike at 6am, stopping many times on the way to the forest, whenever Achi spotted something interesting. We saw 15 different birds even before we got to the reserve. He is so sharp eyed and very patient. His knowledge of birds is encyclopaedic and he wanted me to see as much as possible. We were out for 12hrs & even on the way home he kept stopping the bike when he spotted interesting species that we hadn’t seen yet. There’s something very special about standing side by side in silence, peering into the foliage patiently waiting for a flicker of movement. We spotted over 50 different species of birds, many butterflies, purple faced leaf monkeys & were lucky enough to see a huge male sambar deer cross our path. It was clear that Achi cares deeply about protecting the environment & respecting all species. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and & can highly recommend Achi as an excellent guide & very good company.

Review Body: Amazing tour! Achi went above and beyond on my guided bird walk day - starting with picking me up at 530am from my hotel and ending with a dropoff nearly 12 hours later. The time in between was filled with an incredible number of bird sightings, all due to his keen eyes! He knows the forest and it's birds inside and out. He took us across several great places to see a variety of birds. He also packed my lunch and water, and made everything so easy for me! Highly recommend - I had such a good day.

Review Body: Achi was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide! He took us on a ~5 hour hike through the rainforest, but was flexible on time and route, tailoring the tour to our preferences. The hike was moderate in difficulty with lots of stops along the way for nature sightings; Achi was clearly a skilled naturalist ad he was able to find and identify lots of reptiles, birds, and insects that we would have missed, and had interesting knowledge ready to share about each! He also helped arrange round trip transportation from our hotel with a car that waited and took us back when the tour was over. Would highly recommend this tour!

Review Body: Achi is a great guide ! He is very knowledgeable, even knows the scientific names of the fauna and flora. He knows how to spot the animals and the different species of flora. He is also flexible as I asked to do a longer walk and he went with it. I definitely recommend him. I also recommend this hike... The forest is wonderful... Filled with such a wide variety of fauna and flora, it makes it very unique. I've been to the Amazon, and I was still impressed by everything here. Definitely something to go look at.

From start to finish, he made sure the hike was tailored perfectly to our needs and abilities, ensuring we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. His knowledge of the local area, flora, and fauna was impressive, and he shared fascinating insights along the way that really enhanced our experience, along with spotting various animals. Would definitely recommend.

Review Body: I had a full day hike in Sinharaja Rainforest in Sri Lanka with a guide named Achi and he wasn’t only a great guide, brought me food according to my needs, but he spotted all the fantastic animals in forest and looked after me very well. He was also outstandingly helpful when I had trouble getting to and finding my accommodation, knowing that someone local was ready to help with such things at 10pm in a small town at the gate of the jungle was more than comforting.

Der Reiseleiter war sehr nett, freundlich, hat alle kleine Tiere entdeckt und gezeigt. Er hat sehr viele Infos erzählt. Ich kann es nur empfehlen, es war die Höhepunkt meine Reise. Hihetetlen élmény volt, egy kiváló idegenvezetővel, akinek óriási tudása van az ott élő állatokról, növényekről. Kiválóan beszél angolul és nagyon kedves fiatal srác.

Review Body: Beautiful forest with so much to explore. Guide had great communication ahead of tour. Met me at the bus station and drove us straight to the forest. Friendly and knowledgeable about the forest itself and local history. Special interest in birds if that is something you're keen on. He helped me spot all kinds of wildlife and vegetation. We also had a lovely homemade lunch and swim next to the river, and then relaxed and watched a family of rare birds frolic around us. One of my most memorable afternoons on my trip to Sri Lanka.
