Review Body: This has been such a refreshing Airbnb experience! If you don’t go for the lush green sights of the forest, fresh air, chirping birds and crickets, swaying trees, the soft breeze throughout the day and totally awesome animals (cats, dogs, fish and so on), just take a few days off to go meet the hosts, Q and Nikt. They are exceptional, interesting and extremely caring hosts. Their spirit, warmth and love for nature is reflected in their airy, open, simple and environmentally conscious and junk-free lifestyle and home. They designed their own home in charming wood, earth floors and spunky recycled furniture, with lots and lots of open, breezy spaces and great views of the Berembum forest reserve. The common space downstairs has some solid wi-fi free laptop friendly spaces for those who want to pack some work. Trust me, the natural sights and sound of nature inspire much creativity without distraction. Both Spyder and Boomerang rooms are great. Spyder is a bit bigger if there’s more than two of you, but Boomerang has large patio doors that open up to a lovely extended balcony with a superb view of the greens. Both rooms can accommodate at least three. Whatever time you choose to go, the house naturally has a cooling effect because of the canopy of trees surrounding it, but we were told that August onwards, the weather is especially lovely. They also have a fantastic collection of books, so you won't be bored. Recommend bringing some nice movies for the evening if you're inclined. All the animals at Spyder hill have unique names (and aweeeee-some personalities). The dogs, will embrace you and take you for walks all over the hill, making sure you’re following and not lost. The cats cuddle up nicely. Q and Nikt are foodies (yay!.) They will give you great food options, but our favorite was a Chinese coffee shop at the kampong below, great kopi, traditional brekky and melt in mouth kaya toast! Right opposite them is a nice traditional Malay lunch place. If you have a car, it’s very easy, just an hour from the airport. But even if you don’t, Q and Nikt can arrange taxis at reasonable rates. Go for walks down to the water reserve and a stream below. I won’t give more spoilers here except to say that we felt at right at home, humbled by the beauty of the forest and had a really good time getting to know our wonderful hosts! You have to see for yourself. We will come back for sure. Thank you both.

Review Body: Everything was so out of expectations from the moment I checked into the property. The stunning view from the house overlooking the great Pantai Hill, the great hospitality offered by both Nikt and Suzy from the moment i stepped into the house, the warm welcome from their pet dogs and cats, comfy bed, beautiful sunrise view, and many many more! I believe all reviews here from the past travellers have their say towards this place and about the hosts and i strongly believed all reviews had made justice for this place. Because of these reviews, i met the most sporting couple hosts by far, running this humble AirBnb place and to be honest, i enjoyed every bit of the experience! Don't feel shy to ask them for any extra activities that this place can offer. They'll be more than happy to assist you with some extra itinenary during your stay. The only 2 regrets? I didn't took enough pictures during my stay to store as memories and also my staying period is way too short! I will definitely come back again to this place! Thank you Nikt and Suzy for hosting me and my partner over the weekend!

Review Body: From the moment we drove up the driveway, we had a feeling it would be one of those magical experiences, and THAT it was. From the house pets that welcomed us all the way in (Donnie Darko Chito Sky) and took us for a walk, the gecko that made drilling noises from our room (Spyder room), the wonderful evening walks supervised by the house pets, the rain at night (loved it), the way the whole house changes under the light from day to night, the collectibles and our gracious hosts Nikt and Q with the best personalities. It was great fun and we are still in jungle mode despite returning to KL last night :( counting down the days till we go back again! Highly recommended especially to interior design/antique enthusiasts, nature lovers and adventurers! This is one of those places I am so glad I stumbled upon and my partner had the best birthday! Big shoutout to Nikt and Q whom were the perfect hosts. We will definitely be back! Ps Visit us in KL guys!

Review Body: Despite read through most of the the good comments about Spyderhill, I still have a little worry about the condition of the place, especially the bed where I am going to sleep for a night. Was wondering what if this place is not as per described from photos ? All these worries disappear from the moment I arrived at Spyder Hill. I was amazed by this little gems which full of stylish personal touch and local art decoration airbnb. I enjoyed my stay here very much by reading my favourite. The common area is spacious, there are natural musical concert and super retreat greenery view. I feel exclusive as this place currently could accommodate two rooms which means 4 guests? Of coz owner mentioned they can accommodate up to 7 pax maximum if needed. This place is way much better than those well known bigger scale home stay place which I find it too commercial now. I strongly recommend anyone to book this place and I hope to come back soon on day.

Review Body: I could not agree much with Josh review in Jan19. Spyder Hill is indeed a paradise if you are a nature lover. It has spectacular mountain range view along with cooling breeze and birds chirping. Entire villa and rooms are very clean with good beds, towels and hot shower! We are blessed with good weather during our stay. We get to enjoy starry sky at nights. I personally love the spatial arrangement at common area. There's hammock corner, open deck at front, few coffee table/dining areas, couch corner and etc. You can pick whichever space to chill. Theres a jungle cafe within 2min drive. Minangkabau set and Malay BBQ set are highly recommendable. We seen very beautiful sunset right in front of us at the cafe too. The hosts is friendly and helpful. They make us feels like a home~ Not to mention, Donnie, Darko and the cats which keep us company. They are friendly and lovely. We had a memorable experience.

Review Body: My hubby and I spent our 20th marriage registration anniversary in this beautifully designed house, with lovely view of the hills. There are only two rooms available for rent. We stayed in Boomerang which has plenty of natural light during the day and a bigger balcony but if you want a good view of the hills from the room, then go for the Spyder room. Nikt and Suze are warm, friendly, hospitable hosts who readily share tips on good restaurants and local activities, and we also shared some interesting conversations. They took my husband and I and the other guests to a Chinese coffee shop nearby for breakfast the first morning and very kindly paid the bill. If you wish to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is a great place to stay to recharge your batteries while breathing in fresh air and filling your eyes with beautiful views of the hills and forests.

Review Body: Spyder Hill is a true gem, perfectly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our journey to Spyder Hill on a Friday night after work took us only about 1.5 hours. Nikt had been nothing less than prompt and helpful with our queries in the days leading up to our getaway. What you can expect: an incomparable breakfast view, the company of warm furry friends & stylishly decorated common area that piques your artistic interest. Itinerary included an option of a trek to the waterfalls and pools or a picnic lunch by the river. Unfortunately due to weather conditions we were not able to do either. I guess this calls for a return in the near future! We also cannot thank Nikt and Suze enough for being incredible hosts - from making sure we know where to get food to delighting us with good late evening conversations over beer.

Review Body: Has been an amazing wilderness experience, in a forest only 1h from KL and 2 from Melaka. A home where the time is marked by the sunlight and nature's sounds, welcomed and snuggled by charismatic owners and their nice pets. We liked classy touches as the hand-picked furniture and the breakfast made by Nikt. We are grateful to Q and Nikt, because of they didn' limit to simply host us but they involved us spontaneously in everything they did; from breakfasts to dinners, the gatherings with their friends or simply conversations over beers. Has been pleasant being a thousand miles away from home and not feeling simply tourists. We hope could be possible to return the favour one day. Thank you.

Review Body: We had a unforgettable wonderful gateway at Spyder Hills ! This place is actually paradise to us compare to those resorts whereby there is full of crowd and noises. Thanks to our “Super host “ Nikt and Suze from day one to end of the stay, easy going friendly and also their furry friends ! Moreover they will always give you suggestions for where to have local TIP TOP restaurants and also please check out her friend place(Dusun) for dinner! Please take good care of the place whenever you are planning to book with Spyder Hills ! Review Body: This is an amazing place to stay. The building has been lovingly constructed by the hosts right at the edge of the jungle, and is a beautiful oasis of calm and tranquility. This is not a conventional hotel, but in my opinion it is all the better for it. There is no TV, a/c or wifi, instead you can expect to be charmed by the beautiful building and surroundings and the two wonderful hosts. On the subject of the hosts, they were extremely knowledgeable about the local area, and provided invaluable advice on places to eat and to visit. It was a privilege to stay here. Give this place a try and you won't be disappointed

Review Body: Two nights at this place is not enough! Spyder Hill is a beautiful space full of creativity and surrounded by nature (it sits on the edge of the Berembun forest reserve). Home to artists Nikt and Q, it is warm and welcoming and is a bed and breakfast in its purest form: cozy room, heartwarming conversations over beer and whisky, cuddles with furry friends, and a kick-ass breakfast bowl to make your belly happy. The only negative side of our stay, was having to leave. Just a few short hours from Singapore, Spyder Hill was a place for us to relax, unwind and reconnect with ourselves again.

Review Body: Nikt and Q are great hosts. Top notch. Loving the place to the max, the view is breath taking . The furnitures and decors are super gorgeous, breakfast prepared by nikt is delicious. Very friendly host, made us feel like home. Chitto and sky the cats of the house were so friendly. Had a great time staying there. Great for city escape. Always like the idea of interactions between host and guests. We learn a lot how they live their in the jungle and adaptation to surrounding. Highly recommended!! This is the place to disconnect and reconnect.

Review Body: There are only a few places where you feel right at home. Fantastic location, exceptional decor and stylish house that makes you dreaming. And last but not least, the excellent hosts Susie Q and Nikt who warmly welcomed and cared for us. Of particular note is the extraordinary gluten-free and natural cuisine of Nikt. An oasis in the jungle. You will immediately find peace and relaxation. Nikt and Susie Q make the stay uncomplicated and organize the program what you want. Absolutely recommendable: go and see for yourself!

Review Body: Nikt + Q are amazing hosts. The place is excellent and has so much character. Every piece so thoughtfully put together to create a paradise. From the hammock to the socks for the furnitures’ legs, we loved them all. The view was . One of the highlights was lying down on the bean bag stargazing at night (with whatever little stars there were that night) while Nikt entertained us with stories of the rare animals he had encountered, and Q playing us great music - it was a pretty special time.

Review Body: Nikt and his wife is an amazing host. My trip was a random and all girls trip for a weekend get away. But Nikt update us on the local breakfast place, offer us a picnic by the river and get us lunch, find a spot for us for the picnic by the river and share with us what we can do while we're there. Nikt place is amazing, no mosquito issue and just perfect for back-to-nature trip without having to travel too far away from Kuala Lumpur / Town area.

Review Body: Perfect way to spend a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of KL city. Nikt and Q were absolutely amazing hosts - sweet, thoughtful and welcoming. Review Body: It was a great stay in Nikt's place. His place has a million dollar view in the lounge. The open concept lounge is my favorite spot. It's clean and very close to nature. Nikt and his wife are very very friendly, they give a lot of suggestion on the food nearby and they also make an effort to solve the issue when the guest in another villa is too noisy. They make us feel like as if we are staying at our friend's space.

Review Body: Two really nice hosts! They always took us with them to dinner and breakfast. Really nice experience if you want to see the real Malaysia. In the House you hear nothing than natural noises like animals, the cat or the dogs. Really cute and brave pets. If you want you can do a beautiful trekking to a waterfall and having lunch there. My boyfriend and I can recomment it!!

Review Body: One of the best things I like about Nikt’s place is that it’s very clean and neat. It’s cozy and serene, located in the nature scene complements by the forest’s natural symphony. We’re greeted by their lovely pets, dogs and cat. Nikt is helpful providing tips and info of the area whenever enquired. I must say, this is a great hideout place from the city!
