In this 3-hour workshop, experienced music coaches will show you how to use music as a canvas for storytelling — whether you’re capturing the joy of a wedding, remembering a beloved pet, celebrating a milestone or honouring someone you’ve lost. You’ll explore how to translate emotions and memories into music: what should the beginning feel like, where is the emotional climax, and how do you want the story to end? You don’t need to be a songwriter — your hosts will guide you through the creative process and share samples to help you find your direction. You could also take a favourite song and rewrite the lyrics to make it deeply personal, before recording your version in the studio. Bring along the memories, photos and stories that mean something to you, and leave with a new way of expressing them through music. The photo montage is there to complement your story, but the real takeaway is learning how to turn a feeling, a person or a moment you never want to forget into song.Key Takeaways:1.
