Meet your host
Irma and Manu started this in 2017 to help travellers see a quieter, more traditional side of Bali that’s often missed. They use electric bikes so guests can reach remote villages, rolling hills and UNESCO-listed Subak rice fields without adding much impact. What makes them stand out is how closely they work with local communities—every cycling guide is hired from the villages along the route, so guests get real local insight and tourism income stays nearby. They also support temple ceremonies and village landmarks, contribute to a sea turtle sanctuary on coastal routes, and help fund rainforest restoration to protect Bali’s biodiversity and watersheds.
