The half-day ebike tour from Ubud to Tirta Empul water temple in Bali is a must-do experience. This tour takes visitors on a unique route through rice fields, local villages, and Balinese temples before arriving at the holiest temple in Bali, Tirta Empul. The tour is conducted on state-of-the-art electric bicycles, allowing visitors to pedal as much or as little as they want, with frequent stops and a support vehicle following them at all times. Along the way, visitors can witness the incredible subak water irrigation system, visit a local family compound, and experience Balinese temples. The tour ends with a delicious lunch and a chance to explore the holy Pura Tirta Empul temple. You can choose to do a purification ceremony here if you wish! Visitors rave about this tour, with many saying it is one of the best things to do in Bali, allowing them to see and smell the "real" Bali on an effortless and enjoyable bicycle ride.Minimum RequirementsThe tour travels both on and off-road, and while it is not especially challenging it does require some bicycle riding experience.There is no minimum age for the tour but please be advised that our bikes are full-sized 26″ mountain bikes and may be too big for young children. There is a 150 cm height requirement.There is no maximum age. We have had many guests in their 70’s do the tour with no problems.The maximum weight allowable is 120 kg (265 lbs.)
